Figured they'd release soon since I purchased the silver version Yesterday. I actually like the looks of the silver better though (normally not the case, choose black most often if possible). However I do wish mine would have been built with the upgraded CNC machine!

Oh man, can't choose between this and the Youde Bellus. I think I might just go for one of these since they are more versatile (more expensive though). I think that black one may have just tipped the scales for me.

Still no black o-rings at the glass... thought maybe they'd add those for the black version.

Just wondering how it will look with a black subox, maybe a bit strange as its not matte. We shall see.

Looks like its anodized anyway, shouldn't really have to worry about the black one either.

It'll still pick up a deep scratch but you'd have to really batter it I'd imagine

Right, guess I didn't word that correctly, I meant because its anodized it wouldn't chip paint off like the black subtank minis or such. Sure it'll scratch, regular SS will scratch up too if you abuse it.

Yeah, my black herakles has some scuffed in it, and that's anodized, still looks good though. Adds character I suppose lol.

yeah, but stainless will be the same color under the scratch.

After examining the frosted section, there's no doubt in my mind it's glass. the feel of it, the clink on metal, the texture of the frosting under your fingernail, the weight. So i take a razor blade to the edge to see if i could shave a sliver. Nope, mine's glass.

^^This would be a surefire way to test that theory.

I stated before that mine wouldn't melt with a hot wire or a flame, so mine's glass, too.

I already challenged @eddiea to throw his on the floor first to see if it would break since he's the one who keeps claiming it's plastic. So far he hasn't taken me up on it.

Just got mine in from vapordna and did not expect such shoddy build quality. Airflow control is super loose and basically moves on its own, juice control ring is just a weird overly complex design, and machining just poorly done. As a bonus i have a fair sized metal shard that came in the tank I guess they couldnt bother to clean out.

Was really excited for this tank for the top fill, interchangable deck, and the velocity deck, but after seeing the build quality I'm just super disappointed.

Same here. My V2 had/has all the problems you mention. Ironically enough my V2 was sent to me for free directly from Cthulhu to make up for the shoddy V1 I purchased from them back in April. So glad I didn't waste money on this thing.
