I would assume everything would have went smooth if there weren't production and shipping delays from the manufacturer, but the delays were justified. Did elev8 have a pre-order? I bought my v1 from them back in June, or so. Nothing against smog, but I'd probably have went with elev8 if they had a pre-order, or if I waited for the release and bought it....

I'm happy with Smog, he has kept us pre-ordered folks in the loop, unlike other sited that don't answer their pre-order e-mail inquires for weeks and the person gets All Stressed Out, then all of a sudden the person gets a shipping notice. For my First Pre-Order, I'm Happy.

I would have to! From Elev8 it would have shipped to me at least 2 days faster than from the west coast.
I just purchased mine Friday, it said it was in stock! I'm # 2951 I will be lucky to be shipped this week
In stock should mean just that! don't tell me you have stock and then make me wait a week for shipping

I might be looking at this to go along with my SS V2. I just saw this, thought ya'll might be interested also.

It did say pre-order all over the item's page.... This tank isn't mass produced like a game or anything else available for pre-order.... Smog, and other vendors offering pre-order of this knew how many they were getting from this run.... The "in stock" quantity was what was available from the quantity smog had for the pre-order....

I have no complaints with smog, and no real preference for the vendors offering this, I tend to return to a vendor rather than spread the love around and buy a little something from every vendor....

When I bought mine on Friday there website said In Stock! There were just over 50 left or so they said.
I'm not sayin Smog is a bad site, I just hate it when you think the product your ordering is in stock and it's Not.
I'v been around long enough to not buy into preorders

Wow, I just got an e-mail from VaporDNA selling the Cthulhu V2 SS for $39.99, In Stock, and it looks like it has both clear glass and frosted PMMA tanks included. Nice price.

I got that email. Pre-ordered at Smog on 9/1 [HASHTAG]#2721[/HASHTAG] and still shows processing, but I could've not pre-ordered and got it quicker through VaporDNA.
