Just saw that, too.... I can somewhat speak to the LA USPS lack of common sense.... I bought some liquid from a vendor pretty close to it, the vendor was like a 2 hour drive from me.... First day of shipping, vendor dropped it at the local post office.... It sat there for the day, next morning it showed up at the LA post office. The next day, it ended up at the San Diego post office. Finally the next day it was at the local post office and then in my mailbox.... All that time to cover maybe 150 miles, when I get stuff from Florida and such here in NC now in the same amount of time....
And the no scan issues, I get stuff from WA that doesn't update tracking until the day prior most of the time....

What's real fun is when it bounces around LA for a couple days, I forget the exact zip codes, but I've seen packages go from the local office to one sort center, to another, and back before leaving LA.

Smog Distro now says that all orders up until a few days ago will ship today...I hope that includes mine, ordered on Aug 13....if i don't get an email saying shipped i'll be disappointed and will send him a message. fingers crossed! I dislike hassling people when it's not needed, which is why I haven't contacted him yet. EDIT: It is shipped :)

I've seen it, too, or more like leaving a post office, and for whatever reason being back at the same post office that same night....
Not exactly the same, but had a similar issue while in Iraq on deployment, we didn't get mail for the first few months because the final post office back here in the States to handle military address mail to Iraq claimed our address wasn't active anymore but they held it rather than sending it all back....

Anybody has made some more experiences with theirs?

Today I tested the single coil deck and put in a parallel Kanthal coil which came out at around 0.2 with 2.5mm diameter. It vapes really nicely, no dry hits yet and I prefer it to the dual coil deck right now. But you really have to close that juice control when refilling it. Just refilled the tank and just closed the AFC and it leaked everywhere...

Got my tracking number today :) It shows up not found yet on USPS but I'm sure it will be moving soon enough :)

Same thing with mine also. Won't be too much longer. Yeah ! Meaning that to get up here in S/E Minnesota, I might have it by Saturday the 26th.

Re coiled and re wicked mine today. Switched from 28AWG to 26AWG and halved the resistance to 0.5 ohms on the dual post deck. I fitted the wick holding ring before I wicked it this time and after trimming the wicks down I poked some of it in the wick in to the juice channels. Left the ends a bit shorter this time which has cured the occasional dry hit I was getting when chain vaping.

Damn nice job on the whole wick ring setup Tony. Hope I can get mine to look that well put together. Did you cut the wick ends into a V shape and then juicing said wick ends up b4 inserting thru the ring ?

Exactly the same setup I have however I've found you have to be really careful with the amount to cotton in the wick channel you really just want a little otherwise it seems to block juice flow. It also seems to help me if all the wick reach the top of the juice entry points just like you have it! nice pic

Once I have run the wick through the coil I fluff up the ends and thin out any compacted bits, I then start trimming it down to around the first step in the juice channel for length. You can't get all the wick in the juice channel so I poke the lower portion (closest to the deck) in the hole in the wick ring and drag it down in to the juice channel. All this is done with a dry wick. I will then trim any bits that are going to get in the way of the chimney. When it's a trimmed then I add juice, it's much easier to trim a wick when it's dry.

@tazz - this in Kanthal, I will try nickel at some point but I've stuck with Kanthal at the moment so I can run the tank on any of my box mods and not be tied to my Vaporshark rDNA40.
