I suspect steam crave can't meet the demand yet to do discounts for other retailers. They've been selling out faster than they can make stuff just selling to individuals. However, the RDTA is really well made. So, from the perspective of a customer, I would rather pay more and get quality machining than pay less and possibly get a problem atty.

As for the Cthulhu v2, sounds like I'll continue to hold out and see if QC improves. If I get one, it will be black.

I'm going to hold out on the Bellus, too,.for now.

I don't have the Goliath, sorry. I now have 4 Aromamizers though as I just adopted 2 more that needed a new home. Their previous owner prefers single coil, low power RTAs.

On the Steam Crave RTDA, there is American vendors selling it and in stock.

Subtank supply out of Kentucky sells the whole kit for same price as SteamCrave. Both decks, all the extras and in stock free ship in USA, $6.50 ship to Canada. Last week they were giving a free 10 ml juice with purchase, that might have expired though.

Just curious from everybodies perspective: goliath v2 or cthulhu v2? I was super excited due to the options with single vs dual (and velocity style FTW) but now I am doubting myself. Both of these tanks seem to have downfalls....I am just not sure which way to go. I am currently dripping 95% of the time or I use my Billow v1. Any thoughts on which way to go from those who have either or both of these attys? From the mixed reviews on this cthulhu v2 so far I almost wonder if there should be some more build setups posted that are working properly for everyone, there does appear to be a larger amount of complexity to this atty than many others I have seen lately.....

Sorry to cause any cornfusion Yorky , It was me not grasping that you were talking about Temp control since I'm not into that yet (and your first sentence went right by me without sinking in ), still Kanthal Only for me. I hear all about the smooth vape from Temp Control and the lack of Dry Hits, I like my vape to have a bit more Coarseness than Smoothness, and I haven't had any Dry Hit in over a year (and then it was on my starter setup, an EVOD2, and that was just once ), and I didn't mean to pull you into a debate. Sorry about that Partner.

For those looking at the Goliath V2 or the Steam Crave RDTA, I own both and I highly recommend either. Here's my findings:

Steam Crave
The SC is in essence a tank fed dripper. As a dripper, it doesn't always like being laid on it's side. It's not the kind of device you can throw in a bag, or leave laying on your car passenger seat. I would say it's ideal for the kind of situation where you can keep it upright most of the time. Don't get me wrong, you can close off the airflow and put it in your pocket etc, but just be wary of the above.

Flavour
Flavour wise, it is outstanding. Steam Crave's main ethos with anything they design is flavour. Don't get me wrong, the cloud chasers out there will be happy, but don't expect Velocity style fog in your house. The new 2 post deck is as you can imagine a dream to build on, you can do various builds on it, I've even seen a quad build! The vape band/airflow control works very well, yes it is a bit of a strange method for those used to more discreet rings, but it does exactly what it's supposed to and very well. You soon get used to it.

Airflow
Airflow is great. With all 4 holes open, you really can get a great lung hit, slightly restricted, but not uncomfortably so. Don't expect Mutation X v4 wide open!

Capacity
I have the 3ml version as I like the height of it, but I like that you can also buy a new top and glass and have the option to have a 6ml version. Steam Crave are very good with design and options. The design of the RDTA is brilliant and one I'm sure is already being copied.

Filling
You fill the tank from the bottom and it's great. There are loads of holes in it, so no worries of air pockets. I've comfortably filled with a glass pipette.

Stock coils
Steam Crave have just released coils for the RDTA, which is a great addition to their arsenal. I haven't used them, so cannot comment on how they perform.

Goliath V2
I love the design of this. The juice control is fantastic. A quick quarter turn of the ring and it's on, or off, or somewhere in-between depending on the viscosity of your juice.

Quality
Build quality is great as you would expect from UD. When broken apart, there is a knack to putting it back together because of the way the juice flow works, but I like that.

Filling
You can either fill from the bottom by unscrewing the tank, or, with the right technique, unofficially from the top. I prefer from the top as it can be tricky filling it from the bottom with thicker juices.

Building
As it's a 2 post deck, building on it is great. I really don't like 3 or 4 post decks now. The screws are some of the best I've used. It would take a lot to clip the leads. I've used 28 gauge NI200 in it without a problem. It is quite a small deck, so don't try and put a 3mm clapton in there! I find 2.5mm is about the limit.

Flavour
Flavour on it is fantastic. I previously had the Billow V2 and this is far superior. Much better than the Zephyrus too IMO.

Airflow
The airflow holes are massive, so you get great airflow off it. It is possible to get a mouth to lung hit on it, but I would say it's more for lung inhales.

Stock coils
The other great thing is you can buy stock coils for it if you don't build, or you fancy a rest. I have tried the 0.5 coils and they were great. Funky taste for about half a tank, but after that they were great.

There's my 2 cents/pence for those interested!

Well it eventually stops turning either way. I tend to use it fully open as the thinnest juice I have tried is 50:50. No leaks with the juice control fully open. You'll have to play around with it to see if closing it off slightly has any real effect.

My SteamCrave will be here today!!! The Ch2 will be here tomorrow (per USPS)!! I did not get the Ch1, so I did not violate my rule about waiting for version 2.

I also have a Goliath v2, and it has been fantastic so far. Had one leaking episode, but as time passed, I'm chalking that up to user error, as it has never happened since. I did close off the juice control to half way with 50/50 juice...no dry hits and no leakage.

It's a stressing and time consuming task since I value my hard earned money too much to expend on every new atty. So, when I see a report like yours, honest and lacking of any personal economic interest, I have to stand and clap. Now I have a couple of tanks to buy recommended by a regular/every day vaper like myself. This appreciation goes too to every person posting here. Thanks a lot guys.

Honestly, I've only bought 2 tanks that I just plain didn't like. But, I vape a lot of different ways . I didn't like the Billow v1 or the Silverplay. No QC issues at all. The SP didn't have great threading, but it was usable. But, I found both too warm for me, and muted flavor. And I'm all about flavor.

At least when you buy a budget authentic instead of a clone, you can sell or trade it here, and generally for a minimal loss. That's a win for me. China is really churning these things out though, and I definitely can't get all of them! But, I have so many tanks, I'm ok with waiting for feedback and not being a first adopter.

I'm waiting here for more feedback on the Cthulhu v2. Fiddly is ok if the vape is worth it. Its QC I'm worried about. My v1 is pretty darn nice, but not all of them were.

Thank you @Yerba . I am like you and always look for the next 'best thing'. I too watch videos, but many times I have fallen foul of the reviewer raving about something only to find it's just 'meh'. That's why when I write about something I own, I'm as honest and realistic as possible, as I read the forums too and trust what my fellow vapers say.

There's an internal threaded ring inside the juice control ring. As you turn the outer ring it moves up or down and blocks off the juice flow to the wick channels

I can't even work out how you're supposed to wick that with Vertical coils. Wrap the wick around the outside of the coil and down to the juice channels?
