OK I figured it out 
The little ring that holds the wicks was Not! screwed down all the way.

Counterclockwise raises it. The best way I found to deal with it is keeping the tank off, putting my deck of choice on the base and adjusting the ring clockwise until it get a small gap and then backing it off until the gap is gone. Since the juice control is held in place with an o-ring you'll see it form the gap pretty easily. I didn't my juice control ring because it would just cause a well for the liquid to go into, it keeps the deck integrity.

Now Thats another thing I have NOT been paying very close attention to either, Luckily I haven't had any trouble with either the wick ring or the juice control ring being too high. This RTA needs a little more attention paid to it than my Lemo's do, that's for sure. Thanks for the posts Ya'll.

Hahaha Red Green was hysterical. And I agree, this is one that can be slightly .....y and needs some finesse.
Went back to the single coil deck for a bit.... Threw in a 6 wrap 2mm 28/34 Clapton.... Put it on, trimmed the legs and went to wick and realized it was in wrong.... Went ahead and wicked it, did another Clapton with 4 wraps to try out later....
Liking it, think I'll stick with Claptons on the single deck and run twisted or parallel s on the dual....

A Clapton on my single coil deck is something that I Do need to try sometime. I'm just SO in the habit of going straight to my tried and true 30g Kanthal A-1 'UD' double twisted.
I tried when I first got it, 26/32 didn't fit right to my liking but 28/34 is a perfect fit....
I hear that. With 26/32 I do need more wraps than I like to put in due to the resistance I like to run at, 1.2 to 1.6 ohms, I can get what I like without going sub-ohm and jacking up the power beyond 12 to 20 watts. I'm kind of a Tootle-Puffer/Mod Whomper cross I guess. I haven't seen any pre-twisted 28/34 though. Pre-Twisted is what I use cause my motor skills aren't what they used to be. I can also do Dual coils, but prefer Single and horizontally orientated, Contact or Spaced it doesn't matter, but am Not into Temp Control at this time.

Huh, twisted 32 wrapped on a 28g core. That's interesting. Now I'm wondering if I use twisted 34g on a 28g core if it might be easier for me to make?
It's been my experience that you start to lose more and more of the "Clapton magic" the thinner your core gets though, since the "magic" is really all about the surface area.

On another note just got another Cthulhu v2..... All i asked for was new positive post for my single deck (as its faulty) on the off chance i actually use it so that was a really nice surprise!
On the subject of Clapton coils is there a marked difference in flavour production between just twisted wire and a Clapton coil never tried either just intrigued?

Oh, the 26/32 was a bit too thick to fit between the screw and the little raised side of the connection point on the single deck.... I'm sure I could have stripped back the wrap and the bare core wire would have fit since 28/34 fits perfectly, but that was more work than I was willing to do....
Working on a fused 28/34 Clapton just because.... Not quite sure yet how I'm gonna put it on the single deck....
I don't think the description of "That" Clapton wire is what you posted Roxy. I think it is 2 strands of 32 wrapped around a 28 core, but their description is a bit confusing, and the description in You're post is intriguing. Twisted 32 on a 28 core wire, Very interesting proposition. Your Idea might be a good one to try, Talk about increased surface area, but it would take up a lot of space also. Anyone have a drill and some time ??
