I have just recently ordered an Innokin ITaste MVP and plan to use it as my throw down, out and about, don't care if it breaks, PV. If that makes sense ;).

I normally use higher end tube mods with various RBAs, but I have found myself in the market for something that is good, but won't make me extremely upset if it is lost, stolen, or broken. I think that the MVP meets that criteria.

Now I'm left with the question of what is the best thing to put on top of it?

I need something that holds a good amount of juice (2-4 mil), wicks good, and does not leak in my pocket. I don't want a dripper, and would prefer a clearo of some type. I know my MVP is coming with a iClear 30, but I was wanting to know what else is good or better.

I want current user opinions as I have been out of the clearo market for a while and back then, the best I could do was a ViVi Nova, I would hope there are better options now.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure I will get some great advice!

If you're looking at non-RBA options (which I assume you are since you said no leaking,) I have always had great luck with the standard old DCT tanks with with the 2 Ohm Single Coil Cartos designed for us in the DCTs. They wick well, work great even at 3.7v and hold 5ml. I've also had good results from the iClear clearo's that came with my MVP, but they burnt fairly easily. nature of the beast when you have 2 coils sitting right on top of each other. I have had fairly good results with a ViVi Nova after rebuilding the head using .2 Kanthal & SS Mesh, much better flavor than carto tanks, but I've always had to tilt them to wick properly which results in occasional juice in the mouth. My MVP is my main vape and use any of the above options during the day and swap out to my RSST @ night.

Just my 2 cents.

no experience with the i30s, but the i16s are rockin on my MVPs, also rotate out some mini vivi novas, and an evod or two. Kanger t3 another option. I think you'll like the MVP a lot, I love mine, in fact it's replaced almost all my other devices, and I just got a second one. Now just gotta get me some jwraps d8)

Edit: something else that I'm going to try here soon is the new CE8s clearomizers which have a SS mesh wick, maybe something to look into although I have no experience with them (yet)

Thanks for all the info, this is just what I was wanting.....lots of input. I have an Iclear 30 coming with it, I ordered a kanger Protank and 10 replacement heads. I will definitely be looking into the CE8s, never have even seen those. Seeing as I already like the stainless steel mesh wicks, the CE8s intrigue me....gotta see them.

+1 for the Protank/MVP combo, but you may have to fiddle with it... I use the evod heads but still found it airy, and my protank won't fire if I use the ring included with the tank, and the MVP's "beauty" ring is heinous. I use a type D sleeve, but that has air channels in it, so I filled in the two grooves that are milled into the bottom of the Protank with a nontoxic plastic clay, and I have to twist the D sleeve up so it's flush with the bottom of the tank... there's a lot of threads that tell you exactly how to fix an airy draw, but I find that most people just complain about it and flounce off to yet another system that they will complain about.

(YMMV... some people rave about the Vapeonly BCC... I can't get the thing to stop spitting mouthfuls of juice at me, and I've tried every trick posted)

I actually prefer the T3 to the Nova, as with my juice and method of vaping, I have fewer problems. Toothpick in one of its 3 air holes "adjusted" the draw to my taste.

If using a slim carto tank, I find a short cylindrical "cone" fills in nicely. Yah, the provided ring isn't much use to me. I've heard it makes a good tight drip well for those so inclined. With bigger carto tanks, the inverted flares look good.

I tried the kanger tank in the store I buy from, and I just couldn't get over the amount of air intake using it. It reminds me of trying to smoke a cig that has been broken, lol.

I like a loose draw, I drill all my RBAs out to 1/16 so I think I'll actually prefer that. I'll find out today.

Got my protank in. Taste is muted compaired to what I'm used to with the setups I've been using with stainless steel mesh.

I did remove one of the top wicks and it got better. As far as the tank, it meets my needs. No leaks and enough juice to keep me going for a while.

I guess I expect too much and can't have it all in one setup. It will do, its good, but not great.

Edit Update:

Ahh, now I'm getting it. I had it snugged down too tight on my provari. That was cutting off the air flow. Loosened it up just a bit and now its working much better. I think I'm going to like this after all.

Thanks for the choice inputs.:sly:
