Here's another idea..
I was going for a more political ring, like you'd see with a bumper sticker for elections. This I feel would resonate well with the advocacy and support the Electronic Cigarette community needs to put best foot forward. Therefore a no smoking seal to echo that you're free to vape where others cannot smoke, the device doesn't produce smoke, and therefore is not killing others around you.
I was going to use an eagle emblem to represent freedom either vertical or horizontal on left side (instead of the no smoke seal), but I figured this has not received government blessing yet, so that might be a little over the top with respect to being factual and humble in our representation of this incredible subculture we've help build/sustain.
Even if you don't find it sexy, it's important to recognize the purpose of Steve's request and perhaps a deeper meaning to the slogan... not necessarily the same approach as the sexiest or flashiest thing we wanted to see on the consumer product.
I might have to make another, or refine the ones I've got.
