As long as we're discussing finishes, past experience has me being a bit uncertain about anything black. I have both Zencote and Cerakote and will not buy anything else with Cerakote. My Kabuki is only a few months old, but it is starting to look terrible. The silver underneath is beginning to show on any sharp edge. No, I've never used my ultrasonic cleaner on it nor boiling water either.

On the other hand, the Gold Zencote 2.5 and Stealth Zencote Kabuki look as good as they did the day I unpacked them. And my black P3 remains in excellent appearance.

Unless I'm having a comprehension problem, ProVape does not always specify the exact finish on some of their items.

In a nutshell, Zencote "yes" and cerakote "absolutely not"

Snap exactly the same here, my stealth Kabuki looks awful where the black coating has come off exposing the silver !

My only point here is we are all different, and having many choices is good.

Absolutely. And I was just thinking out loud as to why I'd yet to make the plunge. It's unlike me (to show restraint).

I do like the device enough that it might well push me over the edge. I don't expect them to do it (it's nuts, quite frankly), but "Customize" has been the topic, so I ran with it.

I feel so left out, not owning one.

No. One difference is that ProVape is putting the stealth black ceramic coating over the Radius steel parts that have been PVD coated. So if or when it does fall off a cliff and scratch, graphite grey will show---keeping it stealthy.

I think it's a great move by ProVape to do this....as eventually scratches do occur.

That's very disconcerting. Will the stealth p3 and stealth radius do the same?

For whatever reason the Provi seem to fair far better.

Put your concerns at ease.

@Vape360 - is the Bronze the same finish as as what is on the Bronze ProVari?
Nope! Not even the same color! And definitely applied with a different process.
Different finish.

The bronze finish on the Radius is PVD coated where as the original bronze Provari was ceramic. :)
Dang it! Beated to the punch! Geez @Vape360! You answer so fast! Whaddaya own the company???
