As I understand it, the way this mod works is by relieving the air pressure inside the bottle that prevents the juice from coming up the feeder hose every time you inhale. In that case, you wouldn't need to make any changes to the feeder hose, or the cap - only the bottle's body itself. You could do the same with a simple hole on the top or high up on the side (above the juice line), but the elbowed tube addition will keep the juice from dribbling out of said vent hole should the mod be turned on its side briefly.

Decided to tru this with stuff I have around the house. Took a nail, poked a hole just at the top of the bottle. Took a can of air tube and cut off about an inch and a half. Slowly bent the bottom of the cut tube using my finger nails till I had a J shape. Stuck that into the hole put the battery in and took a couple of primer draws and then pushed the button. Took a couple more primer draws due to the burnt vapor and then tried it again.

WOW this is better than my VV box I have! It's so easy to mod this, thanks D!

Used a 306 atty with this worked great! Just tried a hh357... It's fantastic! I stopped using the 357 cause I never could get it to work right, but now, wow! The 357 draws a lot better than the 306 so you have to draw on it lighter than the 306 otherwise it floods...

So the HH .357 is self feeding the right amount of juice and you don't have to squonk? If so, AMAZING!

If your atty is flooding use the reducer tube that came with the mod this should help . I wish I had time to build a kit for the mods. Whats needed here to make this run like a top is a control valve for the fluid intake .I have wanted to tackle this for some time but time is always against me. Good to see some of you playing with this :)

The 357 is finicky and kept flooding or going dry... Then I realized it might be my bobas... Tried snickerdoodle with LIGHT draws and it's fine, ill try switching to the reducer tube for the snickerdoodle. If you want to hit it hard like D did in the video just go with a stock 306. The stock 306 is a bit muted on flavor compared to the 357, but tons of vapor like the vid.

I've tried the Cisco 306 2.0 atty on my Grand and I still never approached that kind of vapor and my mix is 50/50.

Went back to the 306, the 357 has a really finicky draw with this mod, or I just suck with attys, which I do. The 357 after one fll day is working great, tons of vapor, similar to the vid. I did notice it seems to use more juice than I'm used to, went thru 3ml today, normally go thru about 2. I also noticed you kinda have to have a longer tip since you have to take stronger draws to pull the liquid up. I stuck a 306 cart tip inside a fluxomizer tube and stuck a 510 drip tip on it to make a longer tip. I'm using mrs t snickerdoodle for reference, and it tastes good, the bobas didn't feed very well due to its thickness. I imagine thinner juices will feed more readily so not as hard of a draw would be needed.

Gonna keep using this at work tomorrow, so I'll see how it goes. Off topic, I did learn how to dry burn my 306 attys and clearos!

folks.. One other option is not to tighten the bottle all the way... you can see the bubbles in the tube when you draw showing the eliquid rising... By loosening the bottle, you are creating the same effect as the hole with a tube.. The advantage of that is that if you are traveling, all you have to do is tighten the bottle again and you are set. You can also tune the amount of looseness (amount of air that goes into the bottle to relieve pressure) to allow the right self pumping based on your liquid viscosity. works for me on the 357 and 306. It also works with the army tank and probably most bottom feeders.

Brilliantly simple idea! It's like magic. I just loosened the bottle a bit and vapid in front of a mirror and I can literally see the juice feeding as I draw. It just took a little experimentation to find the sweet spot for the bottle top and I am getting consistently good hits.
Thanks so much for the awesome tip.

You are welcome.. yes.. you have to turn the bottle to tweak it... but it works.
