as far as i know the extreme v1 was fixed so the threw a tc chip in it, called it a v2 and upped the price! the v1 has been roundly criticised for the fixed 510 and they still went with it. I would have preferred a 22mm v2 with floating 510 but there you go. they dont make that so i went with the motherlode...dont regret it at all. just the threading (which is not of this earth - its machined by some alien technology...oh yeah german..thats what i meant) is worth the price. I .... you not!!!

...and dont get bent out of shape about the alien/german quip - my ex of 15 years is german and i love her and her country to bits!! :)

Every single mod they have made, except for the 2380/T, has a fixed pin. Doesn't diminish my love of the Telegonos (17mm Dicodes).

It certainly doesn't diminish everyone else's love who owns their products. Their quality and craftsmanship are some of the best, and when it comes to a regulated tube, they are numero uno!!!

Not saying thing about quality, i believe its high end. But today, when all those improvements are made in vape world, IMO not having adjustable pin is like they havn't researched market as they should have.
I just wanted to say that lot of people are rejected from buying extreme because of nonadjustable pin. And I'm one of them as well

Well, in the EU their tastes and ideals on vaping vary greatly from those of us in the States, or even UK. It doesn't seem to bother most people over there, at least not enough to not buy them (I browse French and German Forums, they love them)...so it probably wasn't as pressing to throw in a spring loaded pin if they couldn't do it properly in their own eyes.

Not to mention, they technically aren't supposed to be sold overseas because of some insurance issues or something, but some vendors will sell them to us anyways. You'll notice no US vendors carry them.

Not making excuses, just pointing out probably reasons for their decisions. I personally wanted the spring loaded pin and the modular design, abs while a 22mm form factor would have been nice, it wasn't a deal breaker for me, and all my 22s look great, and my 23s don't overhang, so it was a win win :)

I know you like yours 2380. I like how you like it too :D. It looks great.
But, as you had your demands, that way i would like a small (18350), regulated (TC is welcomed), spring loaded pin mod... And it suits almost all my needs. But just almost :(

Yeah, the fixed pin does kill it for me too, on the Telegonos I didn't mind, my 17mm attys fit flush, but I know many wouldn't on the 22mm fixed pin mods from others experience

Soooooo why do you guys think resistance jumps around so much on the 2830 with the In'ax? It was running ok with nickel for a while then it started doing the same weird stuff that it was doing with Ti. The coil was getting super crusty so I rebuilt with Ti again just to see if it's something I'm doing wrong but the resistance is fairly stable, but only out of TC mode. Just for kicks I threw my FeV back on it and it runs fine. Do you guys think it could be the combination of spring loaded pin on the mod plus the push-in center post on the atty? Everyone I've spoken to who says their In'ax is fine in tc was running a DNA board, but I'm not about to run out and buy a DNA40 mod just to try it out. Lol

inrerestingly, even on the 2380-,eg kanger STMs dont sit flush even though they do on, for example, the sx mini or sharks/flasks etc. The spring isnt that long so some atty's will still sit up on the dicodes!!

I recieved the email alert Provapeo had 2380s in stock...but all ready Sold out, said screw it and went to Ukecigstore. I had to bite the bullet with the pounds instead of euro, but it is what it is. I've waited long enough.

From the info and pics, I'm really looking forward to this one and can't wait. I love the pedestal top, any size tank looks good on it.

That's odd, mine is fine.

Mine is the original Subtank Mini, is that what you have? If so, maybe they've revised the pin in the later batch of the Dicodes.

The only atty I can recall that won't go flush on my 2380 is my Magma clones - but they won't go flush on anything at all.
