Creme-de-vapes UK have put both versions on their site as arriving soon £155 :)
I just came here to post this
Dicodes - Creme de Vape

Seems like a right bargain for such a quality looking device, I was expecting it to be higher!
I really shouldn't, but I will do a financial juggling act and bag a No6 when Cremedevape get them in stock.

Think it's time to say goodbye to my rc car collection and invest in as many decent mods, atty and bottles of nicotine as possible before the tpd kicks in!

Yea got mine (times two) on back order too...hate the wait
I actually like that vapexerience uses post.nl...we are never home, and the postoffice is next door, so it's very convenient for us to pick it up the next day...with others parties I sometimes have to wait for the weekend to pick it up as they have pickup points 10 miles away....

On the German forum I hear there are some reports of issues with the firing, in that it sometimes (once a day or something) it won't fire the first time you press the button.....any such experiences with the owners down here? I really hate that issue, had it on my Sig 75W and was the reason I ditched it.......Never had this issue with my other Dicodes (Extreme, Extreme V2 and Extreme V2+), so this would really be let down for me, certainly for such an expensive device.....and could cause me to cancel...so I'm wondering how far spread this is.
Yeah I read about this button firing issue too, although I don't speak German and relying on Google translate I wasn't really getting the full conversation lol

I think there was a response from dicodes, something to do with the auto shut off setting, but as I said I was relying on Google translate!

Some reports of rattly buttons too which would bug me, but it seemed like dicodes quickly got them fixed and sorted!

For current dicodes owners how is there customer service, any good?
They also state 2 year warranty on the board but what's the warranty on the rest of the mod, eg 510, charge port and buttons etc...

Just excellent.
Nitpicking Galore, it bothered me that the 510 slots (for atomizers with bottom airflow) on my PP2 weren't perfectly aligned with the firebutton..one e-mail later, I got a free UPS/DHL (can't remember) shipping thingy and 4 days later I got my mod with a perfectly aligned 510 topcap back. :)

Yes I have also read Dicodes response to the firing issue. It seems it's not really an issue but a coincidence. If you set the switchoff to a very low number (1 minute orso) it could be that you fire at the same time that the device is trying to shut down, hence it will not fire the first time you press it.
If this bothers you they recommend to set the switchoff time to a higher value.
As the boxes now have the "5 clicks = off" option I see no problem in setting the automatic switch off to a higher value. So this would solve it for me.

edit: I must note that some in the german forum however report now that it sometimes also happens more than once in the switchoff interval, so not sure if this really is the cause/fix.

I must also withdraw my earlier comment on the non-responsiveness of Dicodes on my upgrade request of my V2...they actually responded within one day..but it was in my spam folder, so I missed it. So my apologies to Dicodes :)

Funny they appeared for sale the day after their 15% xmas discount ended! Keith and Lisa are shrewd business people!!! Still a very good price. My impression that the euro sites will be raising the price, probs to 219 eur after some period...

Dicodes, svoemesto and Provape products were not included in the 15% off sale anyway bud, I chatted with Keith and the margins on them is too small to be able to discount them.
£155.95 is a superb price especially including the customer service you get from cremedevape. I was going to get another SX mini ML but at this price I got excited and sold some bits & pieces. I never knew Dicodes came with a 2 year warranty, now that is faith in your products, very impressed!

A Dicodes No6 will be mine :w00t:

Interesting. I know previously they have been excluded fro exactly the reason you state. I didnt notice it this time. I was being a bit cheeky anyway. I really have a lot of time for Keith and CDV. I am struggling not to pull the trigger right now. Problem is I have a xvostick and a boxer sx350J v2 on order, not cheap either. I love dicodes so much though. Im sure these boxes will be fantsatic...

 Agreed mate, CDV are built on customer service and have helped me out so many times, Keith is a fountain of knowledge and when he says he is impressed by a mod I take notice! The Dicodes boxes are not in stock yet they are "coming soon" so you have some time to decide haha!!

Wow that's some pucker gear you have on the way! I recently got an ML class which is my first mod using a yihi board and I'm very impressed with the sx350j V2. I'm surprised how much I use powerful, standard & eco modes, thought they sounded gimmicky.
Talking of gimmicky the logo designer is nearly ready for the board which I will have fun playing with lol

yeah ive gone a bit nuts lately. I have three dicodes tubes already...crazy!
i agree about Keith. I had a very interesting discussion with him a while back about Mark Bugs stuff. Hea had some WAE2's on offer for ages and i hope I hleped him shift them by putting a few heads-up on the forums. He didnt stock the GEM because the margins were so small.
I will inevtiably stick a D6 in the basket sooner rather than later. I am hopeless with shinyitis. To be honest, the dicodes really are an investemnt for the future. so well made and great CS. You wont regret getting one I can personally guarantee it!!!!

to be honest mate with all this TPD garbage coming up and not knowing how it will affect the landscape I think your being very sensible, not nuts! so there is some logical thinking for you, to justify keep stocking up on top notch gear lol ;)
Some companies you email and never get a response, others a quick sentence days later, Keith is on the ball, responds super quick and in depth and is always honest about the pros and cons of a device, I have a lot of respect for him.
Right, a personal guarantee? I'll hold you to that! I have never had a 26650 device, was put off by the size but the No6 looks very manageable, I'm sure ill love it, it certainly looks the part!

Hooooold on there lol! I am totally new to 26650s also. Actually the lack of decent 26650s is potentially a problem at the moment. I bought a coupl of AWT's before I read reviews that said they are crap, bordering on dangerous. Take care with that!!! I think for low power vaping in TC its probably not a big deal, but have a good look at what batts you are buying!!!

ps. Ginger Vaper in US (the boxer guys) have their 'own' 26650. Certainly a rewrap of something but seems to be good. Just need to know what make they are rewrapping!!

I only vape at around 25 watts so I wont worry too much at the moment, I know since the release of the Vaor Flask Stout there has been a lot of testing going on with 26650 batts, lot of chatter about it on the plumes of hazard facebook page so ill keep an eye out over there and update the thread when I read the results.

I'll have a look at Ginger Vape too, cheers!

Speak soon buddy

Fellow ECF members, anyone interested in grabbing a Dicodes box or No6 from Cremedevape make sure you subscribe to the email notification as they will go quickly, from what I've read there is a limited amount of stock at the reduced price!

Hope this helps others bag one too :thumb: I couldnt see how to subscribe at first, to see the price and the email notification just use the drop down menu to pick your chosen colour, the price will now be displayed and you will get the email notification option!

It's also important to note that the fire button is of the more sensitive kind. It's easy to not have it make contact by releasing it just a fraction. Sometimes I don't even notice it's not making full contact until I don't get a vape. You really have to keep it pressed in.
