I just found a partial answer to my question about the price. I'm not sure when it happened, but CDV's price is now roughly $30 more than before. It's still a good deal even at the new price.
I've just realized that I posted bad information and the price has NOT changed. I was looking at the price posted on the site but I forgot that it includes the VAT which is not charged to US addresses.

The pipeline versions of these on the Pipeline stores in euroland are already at 229 eur so the 199 price point is surely coming to an end on these. I suspect this might be the last batch at CdV at £159...probably will go to £180 or so next...

Pretty much identical apart from some of the symbols/words in the UI.I'm curious about the Pipeline brand. I think I read somewhere that it was simply a rebranded Dicodes. Is that correct? No other changes other than the logo?

Glad you like the Dani's! The overall feel and construction put it a step above anything else I've looked at. Reminds me of pulling my first ProVari out of the box. Keith and CDV make doing business a pleasure. When you get used to where things are in the menus it gets alot quicker to make adjustments. I'm still playing around with boost and heat protection. I'm liking the power limit to set the intensity of the boost. Out of curiosity, what exactly was your button issue? Its good to know Dicodes customer service is top notch. I emailed Dicodes a question before I ordered my Dani and got a very nice and complete response the same day. The two year warranty doesn't hurt either. One is just perfect. The other has a button issue. I contacted Keith through email. I simply said thank you for the excellent service throughout my purchase and the communication from before my order - even to touch base with me updating my shipping info to put me at ease - but one of the Dani Boxes button is not working. Please let me know if there is anything you can think of that may help me.
Within 2 hours he sent me a reply back . He had already contacted Dicodes and they are sending out a new unit Monday first thing. They are also sending return shipping so they can see what the problem might be. I am blown away.
No back and forth. No insinuating questions. No time wasted.
I will admit I was very concerned with this purchase - again I own ProVaris. I know Provape. Customer service is paramount. My fears about buying not only a very expensive device from a company I have never done business with but a vendor - not the actual creator - and overseas. Yea, I was very nervous about the whole thing...
Sorry for the long post but Keith and CDV deserve for my story to be told because they earned not only my business but my respect.
