The top small button did not work. Keith never even asked a single question - he just took care of it and had it resolved with Dicodes sending a replacement. He sent a "So sorry for your troubles - Dicodes is sending a new unit out to you tomorrow with return shipping so they can investigate the issue."

I panicked because CDV is out of the Dani Boxes and I'm not interested in the No.6 so I was heartbroken as I sent the email about the button.

Hubs has been playing with his Dani and the amount of customization is mind blowing. He hasn't used the TC yet (I have SS wire to try TC). Honestly - I love the menu so far. You can make it as easy as setting your watts and vape or really get into it with all the other settings - even with kanthal. The amount of control is absolutely noticeable compared to simple wattage.

I have a dedicated SQuape R(s) for my Dani so I expect I will have a blast fiddling with all the settings :)

Just noticed the Ubat screen with the voltage drop info has gone :( That is so useful - why did they can it?!?!
The Dani has battery "at rest and under load" on the third page of the menu.Is this what you're talking about. It shows the voltage drop from the last firing.
After looking at the Extreme V2+ manual it looks like all that happened is a change in names. Ubo is Bat and UbL is BatL. Same info, just a name change. :thumb:

blue and red '6's still available at old price....:)

I'm really getting impatient waiting on my Number 6. No updates since it left for the US a full week ago.

EDIT: Very interesing in that about an hour after posting this, USPS finally updated their tracking with four movements since 1030 pm last night. With any sort of luck it will be here tomorrow.

Ah, the power of ECF! :)

I know that I really like the Tiny, and finally have it fully dialed in to my taste/style. Beautiful/functional Devices I would have to say. Glad I purchased it, and the KFMv3 fits like it was meant to be there.

The biggest problem with the tiny is that the only batts that go in there are the sanyo ICR 16650s. My efests (that are just rewraps of the sanyo) suck...what you using and do you see a big voltage drop under load??

That's what I'm using in it, but notice no noticeable drop off. Battery last me about of day of normal rotation before change out. And a nice steady Vape. I will agree that the Batteries are difficult to acquire. But Battery Junction has been a great source of mine for quite sometime now
But then I'm a Tootle PufferKFMv3 @ 9Watts

My RED #6 arrived today (gosh that was fast!).

I had to borrow a magnifier from the other half to read the manual - quite extensive menu system. This WILL take some getting used to. The 4200 (sic) Efest 26650 I bought with it powered it up and after a bunch of failed clicks I got it set for TC mode with custom TCR for SS430, the wattage where I like it. After a few pulls I pulled the battery for a full charge.

My buttons rattle - (not a big issue for me), the build screams quality, I have smaller hands so will have to figure out how I wish to hold the thing.

(the other half was shaking her head when I opened the box. Something like "what do you need another one of THOSE for?)

Looked at the No.6 manual and it looks like it just ain't there. I guess you're supposed to just look at the battery graphic. I think I'm glad I bought the Dani Box. I can't imagine why it isn't in the No.6. Odd. When you fire the No.6 does the battery voltage display show any real time voltage drop? The Dani Box does. Maybe the No.6 just doesn't store both numbers on one screen.

1st day using Efest 4200, went from 4.2v to 3.7v this AM. Onto day two of using #6.

I tend to go to the menu item which shows battery voltage rather than trust the indicator. Currently the indicator shows ~1/3 battery left. (which it sometimes was doing with 3.9v) Maybe because I set the cutoff at 3.0v it is affecting the indicator?

On the Dani, the battery graphic is affected by the cutoff setting. Apparently, the only time voltage isn't displayed, is when the No6 is in Temp mode.

I just received a Titan Dani Box from a user on the classifieds and loving it so far. Solid and feels awesome in my hand. It also seems to be giving me a consistently better vape than my Radius at the same wattage. I haven't really messed around with TC in about a year though as I really didn't care for Nickel but I would like to give the NiFe30 sample a go. Can someone give me a crash course on building with this type of wire? Is there a certain resistance range required and also if someone could tell me the gauge of the sample Dicodes sends out that would be great as I can't find that info anywhere. Thanks! :)

I wound a 8 wrap coil on 2.5mm and it came out to be ~0.5 ohms. Using the NiFe30 (resititherm) selection in SE indicates this is 30AWG.

I used a machine screw for winding so it is a non-contact coil. Surprisingly the coil/wire held its shape so I was able to use the screw to hold the coil in place while I secured the legs. I currently have it mounted in a TFV4 mini.

Dicodes has an app note for building TC coils on their website. I built using NiFe and their instructions. Works like I think it should. TC can be wonky if you don't do it exactly correct. Their instrucions worked for me. Welcome to the Dicodes world!
