I received the Dicodes No.6 in one week. Creme de Vape had it airborne the next day and it arrived in San Francisco ISC in two. USPS spent the next few days getting it to Seattle. Keith at Creme de Vape explained to me precisely how much it costs and that I do not have to pay VAT nor tax. It was PAINLESS ! The Dicodes No.6's learning curve is about the same as going from a Sigelei 100watt to a DNA40. Battery selection was pretty easy. Mooch has fine reviews for 26650 batteries tailored for specific types of vaping. The No.6 has solid, steady power for temp control users. It has the comfort and elegance of a Rolls Royce, the dependability and durability of a diesel train and as faithful as a Jack Russell Terrier. Seems everything coming out of Europe is all these things whether it's Dicodes, Taifun or Vapor Giant.

One blue and one green Dani Box - 18650 :D

Sweet. I started out with a Dani Extreme V2+, got 3 more, and am working my way through the Dani Box and #6. I expect by end of summer, most especially after the limited-edition and "premiere" versions become available at Creme De Vape, my Dicodes collection will outnumber my ProVari's (yes, I know, heresy, but true).

BTW: never talked to Keith, but his SO and co-owner Lisa, is equally awesome. I'd highly recommend Creme De Vape to anybody who needs these in the states.

FWIW: there are people who seem to post endless complaints about the ProVari P3 menus... If that's beyond your ability to deal with, then the Dicodes menu system will seem more like a hazing ;-) Having said that, if you take 10 mins, RTFM and look up what all those obscure msgs mean... it'll all make sense. I personally think Dicodes has the best chip currently on the market, I like it a lot better than the DNA chips and find it to be extremely accurate. It's also the only regulated mod I've ever found, available in tube form, that's comparable to the build quality of high-end mechs. The boxes are sweet too, but there are 101 options for customized box mods which also have high build quality (albeit they cost 3x as much as the Dicodes and lack their chip).

Anyway, my SX minis are no longer in active use, and tossed into the apocalypse box for the coming Darkness and End of Days in the US. I don't actually vape anything over around 40watts.

Looks like I've finally found a temp control mod I'm willing to buy. I have been using a radius and kabuki for the last few months but always wanted to take the plunge into temp control, but the Dna 40 really put me off after reading about all the problems people had and three months warranty simply doesn't cut it for me. Was looking for a Dna 200 for a while but the vast majority of mods made I personally think look crap bar the vaperflask. Can anyone suggest a decent tank for me to look into for the dicodes.

So your looking for a tank suggestion in a mod thread?

I think Dicodes has two 'box mods' one is powered by a 18650 and the other powered by a 26650. The top of the mod is sized differently depending on which mod. (I think the #6 is larger)

Most of my tanks are 22mm and smaller fit fine on the #6. Other than possible overhang, the sky is the limit as to what tank to mount. I don't think the #6 has any 510 issues with tanks that have longer 510's.

both boxes can accomodate a 24mm without overhang, the dani extreme v2+ only goes up to 22mm.

Here are some pictures with different tanks, one of the good thing of the Titanium color is that it both matches nicely with SS and black tanks (though a truely black one would match even better).

I like al these tanks, my favorites right now are the Merlin and Serpent mini:

    2m2fhiu.jpg

As said they also take 24mm (like the avocado 24), other tank is the Bachelor nano, also pretty nice.

And I also think black tanks fit them nicely, if you are looking for a clearomizer instead of RTA, the pictures Kabuki is a nice fit and nice tank (no topfill though, but as you have one, you know that :) ).

And my favorite tanks on the Dani Extreme v2+'s: The serpent mini and the goblin nano

I'm sorry, but can't say, haven't used it on tc yet. But take a look in the serpent mini thread, bound some people in there have used it in tc.
I like the tank quite a bit, easy to build, great flavor.

First, thank you all for providing your thoughts on these devices. I am now a new owner of the Dani Box, and so far I love it. In the manual, it states that the "keylock" feature should prevent the mod from firing, but mine can still fire with keylock on (although the two smaller buttons are locked out). Curious if this is normal or if there is something wrong with my device. Thanks.

I sent an email to Dicodes as well asking the same question, although I didn't expect to hear back from them for days. Apparently there is a misprint in the English version of the manual regarding keylock. I do wish that it locked out the mod from firing as well. With the way the buttons are recessed it though, I it would probably take something else in your pocket hitting the button just right to fire the mod.

Still no charging stations for the Dani-Box and No.6. I'm starting to think it was just to get people hyped some more for these boxes. I doubt we will ever see them. Just another vape company making a statement and not following through.

Seems like a huge waste of them putting the charging port there specifically for it, I hope they do I miss micro usb charging might email cremedevape and see if they have any ideas.

Hi Guys, Just joined here to find out more about this mod, lots of great information here and very useful, I was looking a very high Quaility mod to replace my beat up Vapourshark Rdna for an upcoming hoilday next week... Which surprising is to Cologne (Germany) I was on the fence between the Dani box 18650 or the new SX Mini Q class ... Think the Dani has just won, the only concern I had was how difficult the battery cap was o take on and off...but reading back this doesn't seem to be an issue.

I only needed to use a coin the first time out of the box to remove the cap. Just been using my finger ever since. I'm actually planning to sale my SX Mini ML, after using the Dani Box for just a few days if that is any indication on what I personally think of it....to fund more Dicodes purchases of course.

I live in TC mode, and I only do single coil builds these days, so these are the perfect devices for me.
