i tried it for a few reasons
1. curious little cat
2 i have enough to share with the forum and friends and i know someone will try it straight. I don't want to have some fool kill themselfs on something they got from me.
3. was with a good friend / emt / oxygen tank , IV , free ride with lights to the hospital if needed

mine is 70mg stuffs

This is just the type of post I was looking for. I had considered ordering from blip and now I probably will. I had wanted to order so I could mix all my own stuff and try different flavors out.

As I am new to this I have ordered some flavored juice from a few places but I am guessing they were from China originally with a label slapped on by the company?

I am concerned about doing everything right so I might just order unflavored e juice with some Loranns flavorings and try that option. Trying to figure out all this stuff has been harder than actually quitting analogs.

I wish that it were simpler, too. I'm writing a guide on DIY E-Juice Mixing. It's currently a 52-page Word document. I'm thinking it might hit 80 pages by the time I' done.

And that's just DIY mixing, and doesn't contain much about e-cigarettes in general.

A big part of me can not just be happy purchasing some coffee flavored ejuice from a supplier and enjoying it. Knowing there are more options gets me going and the wheels start turning. Should I mix my own? What will save me money? What flavor will I like? My head is going to explode!!
On a side note I have been analog free for 13 days and am so proud of myself. I have also turned on 7 other people to vaping!

LOL. You have the DIY bug - something I'm quite familiar with.

Buy a bunch of supplies from DIY Flavor Shack by E-Cig Smoke Store - flavorings, empty bottles, disposable pipettes, nicotine juice, PG, and VG. Or buy one of Dawn's DIY kits which contains everything you need. Start mixing. Have fun. :D

What flavorings will you like? Hard to tell, which is why I like to recommend LorAnn's since the bottles are small but cheap. You can try 10 different flavors for about $12.

Will you save money? That depends on your quality instincts. If you like the highest-quality ingredients then you might not save much money. Otherwise, you can save tons. But if you buy every single flavor and ingredient and tool, you won't save anything - at least not for a long time. If you're conscious of your spending, you can get well stocked for $100. If you buy everything in sight - like I did - then you won't see a savings for quite a while.

Scottes, that chart was the friggin' uberness dude... well done... wow... I have make my own 36 MG... makes my 24MG unflavored seem ninny for diy. That and many of my vaping friends love my DIY liquids so much they happily pay for the supplies plus a small "favor" fee :) but they all enjoy vaping 12-18MG... hrm... but I wonder what my own recipes combined to a 36MG formula would be like... Igor! fetch me my debit card!

After doing DIY for awhile, I can't go back to commercial liquids. I picked up some RY4 with my last bulk atomizer order because I used to really like it, and I can't stand the stuff anymore. It just doesn't taste 'clean'. Hell, I find the usplastics dropper bottles more convenient anyways, and mixing up 30ml of whatever flavor/strength I want takes maybe 5-10minutes and I'm set for a long while, I just keep refilling my little 6cc bottle out of the big one, and if I want to switch flavors I just grab a different 6cc bottle.

I've always loved this forum for giving me that initial spark to start modding, but finding blip through it really gave ecigs the stickyness I was worried about :)

We've all come a long way from tearing up radio shack N-type jacks and adding glycerin and lorann to commercial liquid, I'm interested to see where we'll all be in another 6 months ^_^

Trying to see if I am figuring this out right!

There are a few places I have seen that sell unflavored E liquid.
I believe they were DIY Flavorshack and Lite Cig Usa.

The Blip Labs product is the same thing correct? I know the 2 sites only had 60mg as their highest option and Blip had 75mg but just wanted to make sure it is still the same thing overall.

It's not always economical - or safe - to use the strongest nic-juice you can find. You will almost always get by with nic-juice that is 1.5 times stronger than the e-juice you vape. If you vape 16mg, then 24mg will generally be sufficient for DIY mixing and will save you some cash compared to mixing with a stronger nic-juice from the same company.

This "1.5 times" number allows you to have e-juice with 1/3 of it being flavoring and other ingredients. If you use weak flavorings, or like to add VG to get vapor production, then you might want a stronger nic-juice.

Making a 30ml bottle of 24mg e-juice using Blip's weakest nic-juice (38mg) will cost you $15.41, but making the same exact e-juice using their 75mg will cost you $20.76. Strangely enough, their mid-level 56mg will bring the price of that bottle to $21.45.

You can save quite a bit of money by buying nic-juice at the appropriate level. Of course, if you're just starting out then you might not really know what the appropriate level is, so buying the strongest nic-juice allows you make e-juice at most any (reasonable) nicotine strength.
