It is the latest version. It has the air hole in the connector and the short wicks. I purchased from ecx. It is stated 2.5/latest version. I am using it on a apollo VV tube.

Sdh, i got the FE Ruyan RY4 today in mail and made 15ml 80pg/20vg @14 nic strength 3% flavoring nothing else added to it.
Gave it hot bath in sink and let sit refilled sink 2 hours later im vaping it and like it already in my bottom coil phoenix .
Im sure it will get better with age and thats just a plus then. Thanks again for the tip. ; )
So now i find my 3rd Ry4 i like.
I read about the vivi and had version one which gave burnt taste in all different ohm head and that was after i seasoned the coil with vg only.
Version 2 with its long wicks was little better.
Version 2.5 with short wick is real good and i like the 2.8 ohm head best.
But the phoenix for me outshines the nova as the taste is awesomeand my favorite to vape with all day.
As a note smoketech is shipping out something similar to the genesis tank and scubagenv3 tank in that the upper portion of tank has 2 screws that the kanthal wraps around and the wick in middle of them wrapped in the kanthal. as its coil.
Totally rebuildable and several vendors are waiting for shipment and also will have the wicks and wire for separate sale and also the coils premade in different ohms it was mentioned.
If i like it i will make my own stainless wick/coil like i did in the scubagen, i did sell it months ago cause it was huge@like 9ml and awkward in those regards for me but the stainless wicks worked excellent once seasoned.
This i will try also.

Good to know Dies! I never liked ry4 until I bought these flavorings. Plus they can be tweaked with extra goodies.
The coil I have now has been working 1 week. Flavor is still good. I think my mistake is related to the fact I was giving it too much power. I even found 4.5 now to work without the horrid burnt taste. I seen a new smoketech rebuildable..is that the one your talking about dies? It sounds awesome and I cannot wait someday to try it. Right now I cannot order anything online. I could but I don't feel like it.

Glad the Viva is working better for you Shd. I like mine so far. I haven't filled the second one I have yet as I just have too many other tanks in use now. Almost picked up a couple more at GV yesterday but figured out I don't need them. At least not now. I do have 2 of the Kanger T-2's coming.
Do you have a link to this smoketech rebuildable? Still waiting on my DID, and building my own gen style rebuildable, but that sounds intetesting.

Do let me know what you think of them....I have been using 2 for the past 3 weeks...and just ordered 4 more.
I have been a staunch Boge user for over 2 years, in tanks and without, on my all my ProVaris, Kicked SBs, Bolts, LTs, etc.... and have added the 3 hole smoketeks to my daily arsenal on all my twist...and tried the stardust/visions (nadda, draw too tight, etc)...but these new T2's have given me fun new extras (the ease of filling, head changes, cleaning, etc) for use on my eGos, 3.7 box mods, etc....
Hubby is using the Kanger on an ego and so far he's liking it. We both have vv's(Buzz and IPro's) with liquinator tanks and 801 fusion cartos.
I didn't see the hangsen...maybe next time. Finally made my first genesis style tank and my defcons don't get used because of it lol. My DID should be here this week, and I have the smoketech rebuildable coming too, which will be made into another gen...what a great week for vaping.
