Great advice JJ! I have two glass bottles filled with my 2 new tasty juices with the recipes on the labels. :)

My batting average with the recent DIY is much better than my most recent large purchase of highly hyped vendor juice.

DIY - 4 total
2 keepers
2 vapable
Vendor - 5 total
0 keepers
2 vapable
3 unvapable for my tastes

What kind of flavors are you most interested in? There was a few vendors that ive ordered from (highly touted) that I thought were just terrible. The best that that I had going for me when I was having a bad vape day (vendor or diy) was that I could always just mix up some straight menthol with a little sweetner and get by for a while. That's what I usually go back for a few hours or so after I start getting a little burned out on a particular flavor. I just started mixing in some fruits with it and might actually be on to something. Just for kicks I added small percentages of watermelon, sweet raspberry, cranberry, koolada and a drop of honey. It really turned out pretty good, kind of like a fruity ICE type juice. I'm going to work on the percentages later this evening and see if I cant tweak it a little.

RI thanks for the update. I have tried the vinegar/lemon juice with other flavorings in the past. They seem to work on nasty flavors..LOL

Anywho, I thought I had MTS vape wizard. I swear I think my dh is taking my stuff. IDK maybe not. Maybe I thought I bought it. I did look through my flavoring and only found bitter wizard. I did the sniff test and decided I didn't want to use this.

I have the Vape Wizard, bitter wizard and just received tart and sour from ecigexpress today. I'm going to play around with all 3 of them this weekend. A few people have already done some comparison testing lemon juice vs. tart and sour vs bitter wizard etc. with interesting results. On some fruit type and bakery type juices both the tart and sour and the lemon juice made significant improvements but the tart and sour has been making the biggest difference on more of the juices. I think this had more to do with the tart and sour having both "citric and malic acids" in it that more properly balanced the PH. The percentages on the vinegar and lemon juice were 2-3 drops/5ml. I'm thinking of trying the same with the MTS/bitter W/T&S.

I tend to like coffee and bakery type flavors. In fruits, I prefer sweet, not tart. I got some whipped cream flavor that I'm going to try mixing with some of the fruits that I have. My next order of flavors will be ECX fruits. Looking forward to trying their super concentrated fruit flavors.

That's great that you can enjoy menthol with a little sweetener. Keeping it simple really does work!

Your creation could be named "rascranlonada ice". :)

That's a smart idea Jj, I just use a marked test tube type measure.

Gloria, I like my flavors strong, so I mix the Caramel Cream at 20%. Lately I've also been adding a few drops of FA Condensed Milk to boost the Caramel flavor. I usually make this one in a 15ml batch. I vape it right away but it does improve as it steeps.

I got some caramel mixed up and don't really care for it. Maybe I'll get some condensed milk! What exactly does it do..flavor wise?

    Good Morning everyone :)

Has anyone tried making something similar to JC Tennessee Cured? Any success? Any tips LOL

I'm on my second tank of Black & Mild and enjoying it. I am still wanting to make something that has a good, tobacco taste. I love the Tennessee Cured taste, especially the hint of mesquite you get every now and then.

I've actually been wanting to try and mimic some of Vermillion River KY blends. Have you ever tried them? Are any similar to JC? I never tried JC for some reason. The Black n Mild at around 2% seems like it would be a good base for some sweet tobacco types. You can make a good smooth cigarette base with just a little seedmans comercial cigarette blend, a couple of drops of tobacco absolute and a little em. I actually have some hickory smoke but havent tried it yet, not sure if that would add the mesquite flavor or not.

I've never tried any from Vermillion River. what is seedmans?

On the hickory smoke I found an ECF thread this morning looking to see if I could find anything for the mesquite flavor in Tennessee Cured. Several had the hickory smoke from ECX trying to get the Tennessee Cured taste. For them, it didn't... I haven't tried it though. It would be interesting to hear your feedback if you try your hickory you already have.

People used to have to by the Seedman products directly from their website Seedman.com but it looks like more and more places DIY shops are starting to carry it. I bought mine from WL. If your looking for a straight up cigarette/tobacco taste then using the Seedmans with some TA and EM will give it to you. I'll try the hickory smoke this weekend and let you know how it worked for me.

Jj, the condensed milk is spot on the flavor of real condensed milk in the can. Many people make caramel from the canned kind, so it kind of "boosts" the caramel flavor in that mix. Be warned that too much and you'll be tasting just CM flavor. I'm personally ok with that since I could open a can of the real thing and eat it with a spoon lol.

Did you nuke the alcohol off Jj? The NF is not as rich a caramel flavor as most other brands, but it also doesn't clog my carto like the others. I love the taste of FA caramel but it'll kill a Fusion in one day flat :(

WOOT, this week I finished off and cleaned out a 60 mL bottle to use for making more Black Mile.

Just made me up a 60 mL so it can start steeping. Maybe this one might make it to the 30 day mark since I already started using the first 30 mL I made hehe.

    WOOT for you Kat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
