DIY Flavoring Thread - Part 2

You need to make up your own mind, and I might hesitate to vape it all day,
but from what I've read, people who had issues had a very long-term relationship
with it, and most of that at high exposure in a factory.
OK decided not to cook the NF in a pot LOL ... instead I boiled some water in a pot, then I turned the burner down to low, then I dumped the flavoring into a pyrex cup and put the cup into the water. I left the burner on "low". I left the Butterscotch3X in that water bath, with the stove set on low .. for 45 minutes. I started with 4 oz of Butterscotch .. I ended up with 2 oz.
Then I let it cool for about 10 mins and then I could not wait any longer so I mixed up a little 3ml bottle with 10% of the butterscotch flavoring .. dripped it into an atty .. it was still warm ROTFLOL .. but what the heck, I have waited a very long time to try this ... vaped it .. did not die ... LOVED it. I bet once it actually cools off it will be even better ROTFLOL, but already I love it.
For the Caramel Cream I started with a 2oz bottle of the flavoring, I did the exact same thing that I did with the Butterscotch except I only left it in the pyrex cup, in the super hot water with the stove on low for 15 mins. After 15 mins I took it off the stove, measured it and 1/3 of it had evaporated, 2/3 is left. I havent tried it yet but I did just mix up a little 3ml bottle and am going to test it as soon as it cools off for more than 10 mins. Will report back soon.

I echo what Sdh said about NF and diacetyl. I have been vaping the Caramel Cream mixed at 20% on a daily basis for at least 2 years. When I made my first order I contacted them about diacetyl and was told that because their flavors are natural and organic, anything that has diactyl naturally in it (butter, cream, etc) their flavors would contain a trace amount of.
It's up to each person to decide whether or not to inhale these flavors. When we had the raging ECF wars on these diketones, I was personally on the side of companies being honest and transparent about it, not banning it.

Just vaped my non-steeped Caramel Cream. I am a caramel-lover, it's what I vape 90% of the time. When I ordered the NF Butterscotch3X it was not the one I thought I'd prefer, I thought for sure it would be the Caramel Cream. Maybe it's because I evaporated the Butterscotch more, or maybe I should use more of the CC, but I LOVE the Butterscotch so much more! I am surprised how much I love it and yet it hasn't even steeped .. wow.
I have TPA Butterscotch, FA butterscotch and probably 5 different caramels. NF Butterscotch is on a completely different level.

In addition, the 30mL size in case we (I) find a flavor I love.
I guess it's a good thing that I'm hard to please, it sure saves me some money. The only tob on that list that slightly intrigues is the Black Devil. The Hazelnut Coffee might be worth a shot too.
I spotted that and the Cohiba. Those are the only two besides the coffee flavors. I am on a coffee kick lately.
