I use a strong pick and a hammer. Neanderthal man!![]()
Actually it's for the mega fusions. My mistake my friend.well she doesn't want a big tank she prefers the slim ones.
I do not heat my NF flavors on the stove, and don't over heat them. I use a shallow Corningware cereal bowl, pour my 2oz bottle of flavoring in it and heat it for only 20 to 30 seconds in the microwave. I then let it sit until it cools to room temp before re bottling it. I've been doing this for 2 years and never had any white residue. I've also never had any issues using NF in my polycarb tanks. But I have never used the Butterscotch, only the Caramel, and the Caramel Cream.
Looking forward to hearing Kurt chime in, and I would also advise you to contact NF. My bet goes to over heating, but I don't blame anyone for being concerned about this.

I dont think it could have been from overheating, I never put it into boiling water. I brought the water to a boil, removed it from the stove, then put a pyrex custard cup with the flavoring in it into the water, about half way up the custard cup. I let it sit in the water for about 45 mins, with the heat on low .. however I could stick my finger into the water the whole time and it wasnt too hot. After that 45 mins I poured it from the custard cup into the plastic measuring cup just because I wanted something with a spout so that I could pour it back into it's original glass bottle. I just tried vaping the Butterscotch again tonight and wow, it is very delicious, even better than yesterday. Since no one else has had any problems like this I think it must have been some weird cheap plastic that the measuring cup was made out of that caused it to happen.

After the whole evap process, what % did you use?
Just a guess here, but I'm thinking it may be one of the natural sweeter components melting down then crystalizing and hardening onto the surface, again just my guess.
I used 10% for the Butterscotch, which is high for me because I rarely go over 5% on any of my other DIY. This is great at 10% but YMMV. If I decide to keep vaping this I might lower it to 5-7%, the flavor is fantastic IMHO, I am just a little scared of it right now LOL.
Right on Bovinia, I've been cooking my Mixes ( Adding my Nic after ) for quite some time as well,, I'm pretty sure I even posted about this in this or another ECX thread a ways back.

So you mix at 20% after evaporating the alcohol as you described?
