Agreed, thank you Kurt and Stash! I truly hope he is as passionate as he is a good sales person. Surely his chemist knows that diacetyl and related diketones are not recommended for inhalation. I would like to see them at least acknowledge this and post on their new website which flavorings contain them.

I knowingly already vape certain flavors that contain these diketones, but I want the info to be made available so that vapers can make their own decisions :)

Gloria, I have not tried that cinnamon. The only one I have tried is TPA's Cinnamon Sugar Cookie. I didn't care for it as a stand alone, but it's not a bad flavor for mixing.

He asked me to post our conversation on the internet, he welcomes questions and wants people to know about his products. .... Then he got tired of seeing the vendors high prices and so that is why they are opening their own website to sell it directly to the ecig users.

So glad that you were willing to follow up on this with him. It sounds like he really opened up to you. Which seems to be the opposite of reactions that others got in the past from NF. But maybe they weren't talking to the "boss". :)

Gotcha. I would be very interested in his take on gum arabic. I would also like to know how he intends to remove larger biomolecules from his safe-for-vaping food flavors. PM me and perhaps I can be part of the email conversation. I have many questions for him, but I like his spirit and intentions. I wonder what his take is on tobacco essences.

Thanks for your willingness to invest your time in researching this Kurt. As others have said, your opinion is respected and I look forward to your thoughts on the safety of vaping NF flavors.

I tried some extracted cinnamon. It was okay, but weak. I did it the same as coffee extraction. I haven;t used it much. I'm not really into cinnamon, except a drop or 2 of Cinnamon Red Hots in my diy pear.

Anybody here tried the cinnamon flavor at DIY Flavor Shack? Jimi, Jewels, JJ, Shilo, Bov...anybody? Inquiring minds want to know if it's the bakery cinnamon we're looking for. :)

Also, I know that some of you have extracted cinnamon. Are you still using your home made cinnamon in your recipes? Just wondering if I should give that route a try.

Hi Gloria, if Newport Flavors.com carries a cinnamon flavor. I will get some to try. I will be buying some bakery flavors for my Wife.

Hi Jimi....I'm with you and I'm looking forward to their new offerings. I'm pretty sure it's spelled with a "u". newportflavours

Allright back to the NF flavors, I am getting geared up to mix some Kona Cream any percentage suggestions from those who tried it? It smells quite strong so I thought I would ask first.

On the 13th I mixed up a simple batch of each of the single flavors I received. They came in convenient plastic dropper bottles. I LOVE the smell of Kona Cream. I put 6 drops in my 5ml bottle of 12 nic. It was good, but the next day I added 2 more drops. [ Not sure what this percentage is yet because I haven't put any of the drops in a syringe or whatnot.] I'm loving it.
Oh, I also took a 5 ml bottle of my nic and added Cookie, Kona Cream, Marshmallow, Coffee and Choc. Fudge :p Holy moly :toast:

I'll be the first order on the new NF site for vaporers :D

Are those all from NF? Those would definitely be on my list.

yes NF flavors
Also got caramel and toffee (great flavors as well, low percentages since I'm only putting a few drops in 5 ml bottles of nic)
sweet cinnamon (freakishly powerful... 1 drop in 5 ml is plenty for me at this point)
honey (also overwhelming and not tried vaping it yet  )

I missed alot so I have some catching up to do. WTG Stash, glad you contacted NF. I had a feeling about them as soon as I tried their butterscotch and malt extract.

I'm vaping their Butterscotch 3X and Caramel Cream right now .. mixed them together .. yummy! I never thought about getting the Malt, would love you to tell how it tastes mixed with the Butterscotch.

I've only mixed the malt with some tobacco flavors so far, i'm not sure how to describe the malt, it's different. Everything i've tried with it has been better so far, the malt kicks .... I mixed the butterscotch and caramel cream together too, it's better than I remember COV's butterscotch being. NF is gonna put a hurtin on some vendors when more people start trying their stuff.

Did you mix them equally? I still haven't evaporated them or mixed them.

I have the Butterscotch 3X, which is super strong .. I evaporated it by 1/2 .. LOL .. now it is SUPER SUPER strong. The Caramel Cream I only evaporated about 1/3 out of it. The bottle I am vaping now I mixed them 50/50 .. but do remember my Butterscotch was evaporated down much more than most people would do. If I had evap'ed it the same as the Caramel Cream then I would have probably used 60% Butterscotch and 40% Caramel Cream.

I really dont think the ratio will matter all that much because these are both great on their own .. so you really cant go wrong if you mix them at any ratio .. or dont mix them at all and use them stand alone. I dont normally use a lot of flavoring, I made this with 3% of each .. total of 6% .. higher than I usually go.
