So Ive been vaping this Hangsen 555 for a while now and its good but I feel its missing something. Its kind of just nutty and dry.Was thinking it needs some caramel or vanilla.Any suggestions?
Also thinking of getting the Hangsen Ry4,so would I be better off just getting the RY4 and just moving on from the 555? As long as the ry4 tastes like caramel and vanilla and not licorice it seems like that would be more cost effective and better tasting.Opinions please :)

Yes I think you will like the RY4 based on what you said you are looking for. I also got the Hangsen Chocolate Caramel and I think that could be quite good added to a tobacco you feel that needs it or you can just get the caramel and vanilla added to your 555 to improve it for you.

What are the top tobacco flavors at ECX? I'm wanting to get 5-6 of them to try, I was leaning towards the FA ones. Also is one similar to PinkSpot's USA Blend? Just starting DiYing and gonna place first order of flavors. Having trouble narrowing the list so I'm gonna try to get top 5-10 from each category of flavors. I'll ask about the other categories in a later post, just trying to nail down a few solid tobaccos first.

Just to get a full experience if I was you I'd get a few FA, a few Hangsen and a few super concentrated tobacco express flavors---all different all have their place--its all about what appeals to you.

Is the hangsen chocolate caramel dark? Dark juices are rough on my cartos .

I've been trying Hangsen Tobacco Essence Desert Ship for a couple weeks and haven't been able to get much flavor at all with it at even 10%, so tonight I've been searching and reading and I found this:

"Note: When mixing a bottle of DIY liquid, our recommended ratio is 30% tobacco essence with 70% solvent"
http://hangsen.en.made-in-china.com...ina-Hangsen-DIY-E-Liquid-Tobacco-Essence.html

What do you more experienced DIYers think about that? That would make it pretty expensive.

The Hangsen stuff is my favorite and you can surely taste the real tobacco flavor in a well steeped bottle of the pre-mixed e-liquid, so I'll most likely stick with it, but that sure seems like a lot of flavoring. I can probably get pre-mixed Hangsen e-liquid cheaper than DIY at that ratio.

Hangsen DIY E Liquid Tobacco Essence - China Tobacco,Tobacco E Liquid

Jimi tried that 30 percent business a couple weeks back and lived to regret it  The thing I have found with Hangsen is they require a serious steep time for me. Like 1-2 weeks. When I asked the vendor he recommended I start 5-7% and thats what I did. Most of the tobacco flavors I ended up at around 10% with some being under. However there are people on this thread who vape them much lower. I think some of how we perceive tastes has to do with the different equipment each person is using. It can get frustrating because you can smell that awesome smell but the flavor isn't developed enough yet.

Thanks! I started at around 5% and ran it about 4 hours in my ultrasonic cleaner to help it steep but it still mostly tasted like VG (even though it was 80/20).

A couple days later I added about 5% more flavor and it was still weak, but that's probably because I didn't let it steep more or run it in the ultrasonic cleaner any more.

So, getting impatient, I added well diluted tobacco absolute until I had at least some color/flavor to make it vapable. Now about a week later I'm getting some sense of the Desert Ship flavor.

Next batch I think I'll start at 10% Hangsen Tobacco Essence Desert Ship and steep in the ultrasonic for 4 hours plus let it naturally steep for a week or so before I even try it. That should get me closer judging by your response.

Hi VaporMizer, also try 1 drop per ml. That's my favorite mixture to date. What I do is make a 10 ml bottle of unflavored nic, and drop in 10 drops.

Thanks, Jimi D.

That sounds like a better place to start my next batch because I think that would be roughly 8% flavoring ... so more than my first batch but less than the 10% I was going to start with. I can always add more easier than having to dilute if I start with too much.

EDIT: whoops! Miscalculated...that would be about 4% which is less than I started with on my first batch. I think that might work for Hangsen Turkish Blend that I have because it seems stronger, but that's too light for Desert Ship unless it takes a very long time steeping to reach the level of the pre-mixed Hangsen DS e-liquid.

It all seems to be because of the VG in a way. When these Hangsen Flavors first arrived I put 2 drops of Desert Ship in 10 ml of PG nic base and I swear I could taste it plain as day..now with 20% VG I can just now begin to taste 25 drops after 4 hours in the ultrasonic cleaner and over a week of natural steep time. Weird.

I got my NF Chai and coconut in the mail this morn. I took the cap off the Chai and have it sitting on my warm router the breathe off some of the alcohol, wow my bedroom smells wonderfully spicy :) What percentage did yall recommend for it?

The coconut smells really good, but only the taste test will tell :) Wolcen, the FA coconut that I normally use is good to add for a little creamy sweetness in small amounts. It also enhances chocolate flavors. I love it, and it's a big part of my Caramel Coconut Cookie must have recipe. I've added a few drops to the Black n Milk, and I mix it together about 50/50 with the Oba.

I did 10% Chai and it is perfect.

Mmmm Absinthe and coconut sounds good too. I really need to get some more Anise. I havent tried to the Absinthe yet or the Horehound from TPA but it is on my list. I do like the FA Anise though but it is very creamy looking almost looks like sperm lol.
