I wanted to throw an idea out there at the DIY community, (and please if this has already been done then maybe someone can direct me to the link) as a DIY'er I find it very frustrating to get a flavoring that taste like perfume or flowers (floral) and honestly throw the flavoring straight into the trash as I can not stand to vape anything with that floral taste. So I thought rather than spend thousands of dollars on my own to find out which ones to stay away from maybe we can all give feedback as to which flavors gave you a floral taste. I know taste is subjective so use this list at your own discretion - if you disagree with what someone says about said flavor, then mention the flavor in question and it will be noted. If 100 people all say the same about a flavor...well then it's probably so... I think the list should go something like this:
MFG - FLAVORING - (PERCENTAGE USED) - RESULT AFTER MIX - RESULT AFTER STEEPING (how long steep in (parenthesis) )
TFA - Maraschino Cherry - (from 1-5%) -Strong Florally taste - after steep (2wks) Still Strong Florally Taste
LA - Raspberry - Floral - after steep (2wks) floral taste lightened a bit but still there
I think this list would be helpful to DIY'ers and could possibly save us some money. What does everyone else think? If this list gets going maybe we can get it stickied and if any of you could help out with the upkeep of an ongoing list that would be great.
