DNA 40 build

Hello all I am trying to figure out something for my dna 40 box mod build. I know that Evolv says you don't need to wire in fuses but I want to run 2 18650's in parallel. Shouldn't I fuse each battery to protect them from reverse polarity? Not so much to protect the board as to protect the battery? I have read a bunch of posts but really can't find much for the dna 40. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, if you are worried about accidentally reversing polarity on one of your two batteries, you should fuse them.

I built multiple dual battery Tibs mods, and I'm removing the fuses as I upgrade to the DNA 40's. That's just me, but I take great care to get the batteries in properly, screw the cover down to never be removed again (I use the on-board charger).
