Kaifun costs 100$ plus wicking and coils.

Nautilus Mini costs 30$.

I could buy an aspire nautilus mini + 35 atomizer heads for 100$. If they last 7-14 days each that is a years worth.

The Kaifun you have to rebuild each and every time and wouldn't start paying itself off until a year compared to a Nautilus tank. And in a years time there will probably be better stuff to be had anyways that you will want.

If an Aspire Nautilus Mini is at least a comparable vaping experience to expensive rebuildable's, I don't see why people here would recommend one over the other. Especially by saying "IT ONLY COSTS ME 11 CENTS TO REBUILD My <insert expensive rebuildable here>!", when you paid a much larger upfront cost. It's just not honest. Or at least misguided.

I will buy an Aspire Nautilus Mini because they are affordable and seem to at least hang with the "best" for the most part. Plus they are easy to use and don't require surgery every time you want to replace the coil and wicking.

I bought a Nautilus Mini 5 weeks ago. After over 140ml of Ripe Vapes Pear Almond Juice vaped at 4.8volts on a provari I am still using the original coil that was in the mini. Yes the flvaor profile has started finally to get more muted but it took me 140ml to get to that point. I plan on wearing this coil out just to benchmark it. Maybe I just got some of the "good" coils but I am sold on this clearo.

To be fair, most people buy clones, and even the high-end ones are usually less than $50. I just bought a Ehpro Kayfun Lite+ V2 for $35. All the rebuilding supplies for the next year cost me about $10.

Anywho, it sounds like you're against rebuilding in general, and want something that is easy to use. The latter is a reason many people fall in love with RBAs. Once you get some practice making coils, it doesn't take long to do, and they can last many weeks with the occasional re-wicking. Compare that to all the time you spend cleaning stock replaceable attys and dealing with duds and "off" tasting issues. Many people find that the time they spend fudging with their setup is much less once they get the hang of RBAs.

Some people just like tinkering with their gear. You may want a "plug and play" solution, but many look at this as a hobby, and enjoy tweaking with their gear. Others prefer to be self sufficient and not rely on stock coils for their habit, who knows what the prices will be as regulation creeps into the scene?

To each their own, right? Is there really a need to come off so adversarial and calling others dishonest and misguided??

well my real issue is this.. i vape a 50/50 pg/vg i can take 3-5 draws from my mini then get a dry hit everytime.. i have to let it sit for 10-15 minutes approx before i can take another draw.. i am basing my rant on the stock coils that came with it and i hope purchasing a pack of coils that have been released later than the tank will fix this wicking problem as i have seen people smoke 80/20 vg/pg and upwards in this device with no wicking issues.. i have sat there taking 10-30 primer puffs and that simply doesn't work.. i have tried to vape on lowest airhole etc and still no luck.. still have to wait 10-15 before i can draw again.. what could be wrong apart from the fact that the stock coils that came with it are faulty?

I'm using max VG in my 2 mini's and have had no issues so far. I've had one bad coil on the Nautilus full size, but with the new BVC's, no issues with the large one.

Now I do have a EHpro Kayfun on order, not because I hate the Nautilus, but want to give rebuilding a try. The Nautili I have will still be used. I also have the Kanger Aero mini and Mega, and use them from time to time. Just like the Nautilus better.

I think it's the nature of mass produced coils that there will always be SOME bad ones. Sometimes and entire pack of them may be bad. I'd try another pack of coils before I gave up entirely. I don't own one of these and most likely never will (cartotanks and RBA's are far more reliable IMHO than clearos) but most people who own them SEEM to be having very good luck with them.

If you don't want to re-build, that's fine.

But, just for the record, one of my Kayfun clones cost about the same as your Nautilus, even with a years worth of wick and wire, I'll be well ahead on cost after a year.

I don't rebuild the coil most of the time either, just pull out the wick and put in a new one.
