Many of us love the Darwin as this is one of the best APV-s out. Nevertheless the design has not change since it was released. Also sometimes it might get a bit inconvenient to use tank system on it.

I know there is the Kick for tubes, but then you have to disamble all the time to change the W. So what do you think? Would be a tube Darwin viable out on the market?

Errrr yes! Might take me awhile to raise the money, but yes. I have been saying this for awhile actually!

The thing also has to be reliable as hell with no inbuilt battery. If I ever have to get it out of the country for servicing with an inbuilt battery, the postal service will not accept it.

:D

I would buy one but it would always be "out of stock" as the original version is.

Yes, this has always been an issue. Economically what Evolv is doing is not viable in a long run. You should play with the price to keep demand close to output level or extend the capacity to satisfy that need until copicats come.
I will not be surprised to see the first Chineese VW come out soon...

I would love a Darwin in another configuration. I'd go for a tube version -- but my ideal would be more like the Opus, with full Darwin features and display.

And, as much as I've been a feeder fan, I don't require that feature for my next "darwin" model.

My feeders and darwin don't roll around or get knocked over like my taller tube mods. I've grown to love the more boxy formats. I'd actually like that Darwin arm to protrude out 1/8" more.

if it has proprietary batteries and a passthrough, yes.
if not, no. nothing to set it aside from VV other than simpler to switch between cartos better.
I totally agree!
I am seeking for a tube mod with VW and usb inteface.
If it is SS and has 2 version of upper cap (one flat and one cony) it would be perfect for me.
