It's still pretty standard. Regular=Standard, Mega=XL. Not sure how long you've been out, but I'd recommend the Fusion for thingy fiddlin' (if you are sticking with Iken's cartos, that is). The flangless cartos don't like to stay in place when you're using the thiny method. The last one I tried got pushed up from the bottom of the carto & 3/4's of my tank ended up in the thingy.
I totally agree about the flangeless cartos until I read somewhere to turn the whole unit upside down and then fiddle!! Easier clean up too!!

I'm just posting to share my excitement - I just placed my first order! I've read so many amazing things about these tanks over the past couple of months that I feel like I'm already a fangirl, even though I haven't even used one yet. If it's only 10% as good as I hear, that's still better than many toppers I've tried.

Jelly on the location... could use a few weeks that but any vacation time we get is rolled into vape events. Some day though :D

Hope you do enjoy it, the most important thing is to take your time and set it up right. What I see a lot of folks do is hit the power button too long before making sure the coil is wet, its all detailed in the flyer you will get with the tank. Basically take a regular draw but only hit the power for a second for the first few or more draws until you get flavor and vapor, then gradually increase the amount of power you give it. Once that is done you are set for that cartomizer needing only to fill it up and vape away.

Right on. I fully intend to overcome my excitement and impatience and make sure to take my time to get it all set up right in order to save time, money, and frustration later on. It won't be easy, but I will. :)
Vaping is pretty common here on Maui, and I hear it's big on Oahu too. Many people, like you, travel for vapemeets and also want to visit Hawaii. There should definitely be a major vapemeet here to combine the two.

Love my VV V3's! They're 15mm (square).

Just got (my first...like it a lot) IBTanked...a 19mm XL. But it's a little "top-heavy" on my V3. So figure my next step is to try a 15mm.

But when I go "F.A.Q." => "Q: How much do the tanks hold?"...there are NO values listed for the 15mm tanks.

Anybody have any approximations?

We went to Oahu and snorkeled in Hanauma Bay last year, it was great. One of our daughters husbands was stationed in Pearl and she was graduating from leeward with no one there to celebrate with her as her husband was underway so we had to do it. It was a crammed in trip because we could on get away from the business for a few days but she had a car and knew the island well so we probably saw more than most would if they had been there for a few weeks. The Mrs fell in love with snorkeling though so we will definitely be coming back when we can.

A vape meet would be great there but the hard part is that so many vapers on on the east coast which means a quarter way around the planet trip for them.

Gerry, the 15mm tanks have a thinner wall just so you know, the glass is about half as thick as out other tanks.

Capacity is going to be around 0.4, 0.8 and 1.2ml for HalfLing, Standard and XL. I have not listed these yet as I have not taken good measurements. I have meant to purchase some small syringes for this to be as accurate as possible but the few times I have ordered vaping supplies the stores i was shopping at were sold out. I know I have some around here somewhere and will try and find them but I think those amounts above should be fair estimates. That is of course not counting the cartomizer, just what is in the tank as is with all of our measurements.

OCD...Thanx for the info to help me with my next (2nd) tank.

When I bought my 1st one I bought a "Refilling Drip Tip" with it. I realize there's a "steep learning curve" with cartotanks but I got a lot of juice on the top (around the opening) when trying to refill it from a bottle of juice.

Luckily I remembered I had previously purchased a bottle with a needle dropper on it. Using it I effortlessly and quickly filled the tank without spilling a single drop.

Thus I'm wondering if you've ever considered offering for sale (probably under "Tools and Vanity") such bottles for other newbies.

That is something we should look at adding as it is not a big $ inventory item and its not something that would be difficult to ship. Honestly though the bottles I have tried are kind of tough to squeeze liquid out of as the needle is pretty small. I havent had any issue filling from a dropper bottle both using the refilling tool or not, you do have to be careful not to go too fast as that will flood the opening and seal it off like a vapor lock. If I come across some good bottles I will certainly consider them, I think they need a 14 gauge or larger needle, the ones we have are 18 gauge.

Peter, we like the IBTpro 22, the looks is tough to beat and as has been noted (Elantis I think) it will also work with the Seigli ZMax for folks that have those.

Hope you like it, if you dont send it back to me ;) Honestly though, I wish I had made these about 0.015" shorter, it has to pull the cartomizer down to hold everything tight but it could pull a little less than it does. Man, it is such a tossup in doing this kind of stuff and the kinds of cash I have to put out to make a silly little rings is boggling so I always proceed with caution. I have taken 0.015" off the height for the anodized and will do the same for the SS if there is a second run tough right now I have a years supply of the SS so there will be no change in that in the near future.

That said it works absolutely fine, its a if I had my druthers situation and I have them but they are at the whims of my market flow as I develop new products. I can say with all honesty that I love my IBTpro 22s and use them every day without fail, if someone is using a 22mm IBTanked tank with a Provari or a Seigli Zmax they too will love the finish this gives to their setup.

Ya know, if you dont have a sense of humor what do you have? Welcome aboard Kevin.

When we first started here on ECF we had just two threads. That is what forum suppliers can have until they can get a supplier forum as we have now. Well we never thought we had a need for a second thread as this one pretty much summed us up so we only used this one which was eventually merged into our own forum here. Still pretty tough to give it up though so it is still pretty much our catch all thread.

Most folks get the humor and I apologize to those who dont but ya know if you cant have a little fun in all of this whats the sense in tryin?

VJ, I agree... fiddlin isnt for everyone but if you get it the whole thing makes perfect sense.

Glad to hear it worked out for you and hope the flyer did its job. We take a hit on sending that out with every tank but feel the importance of getting it right the first time is the road to each individuals success and thats what counts.
