Also, if you insert the tank into the thingy top first it puts the threads in the cap. Easier to wipe out the cap then the bottom of the thingy. I usually check several times to see what the filler is looking like when I think I am getting close to keep from going overboard.

Funny how this works so well for some and no so well for others, I know I was amazed and delighted when I first saw those air bubbles and I was just putting a tank into a Thingy to drop into my pocket as a spare.

I just picked up a new tank today, my first! Fiddled with my thingy and now vaping like a boss! I'm so lovin' this beautiful tank! It's a 22mm halfling, filled with DFW Blue Hawaiian on my MVP and on a 650 ego battery

I see you got the elusive dots, they are not on the site and the first ones that went out went to China then to a few of our wholesale customers that leave colors up to The Girls. They are one of those things that can be asked for with the pick a color option though just by leaving a note in the field that appears when the option is selected.

Also wanted to say, I like the lolly look of the 22 HalfLing on an eGo. We first put some of them together at VapeStock last year and people gushed over them.

Good to hear you like your tank, we do our level best to make sure of that.

EDIT*** Hehe, just noticed you mentioned DFW. Were they low on stock of our tanks? We are putting together a substantial order for them now. Those were from an order placed at Vapefest In Vegas, thats how you got the dots :)

Haha, its the little things ;)

Here is another, I use the 19mm tubes for carrying 350 and 490 batteries in my pocket or The Mrs purse. When I put a charged battery in I always put it in button up. When i use one of these and put the dead one back into the thingy I put it in button down. Easy visual indication as to the state of the battery in that thingy.

Yes, I bought my Halfling tank from DFW, it's such great shop with great staff! I had asked them for the Halfling tanks at their Louisville, KY shop this past Sunday and now I have one in my hands on Thursday!
Please tell your Girls they do awesome work decorating them, it won't be my last! I understand now why everyone has and loves these tanks! I've already picked out my next one :)

I will say from my meetings with the owner I think DFW has a winning formula. So great to hear from you as a customer of ours and theirs, this is the big picture for us as one might imagine so it is great when we see posts from folks who were able to purchase out tanks locally.

I will let the Girls know on the compliments, I always do.

lastly i have to say, your moniker conjures up all kinds of happy thoughts... thanks for the smile on that alone :D

Hi VJ, capacity is going to be lower with a glass tank. At least a thick walled glass tank like our 19 22 and 25s. This is simply because the thicker glass takes up space inside of the tank. One thing to remember is that capacity on most 3 or 6ml tanks also includes the liquid in the cartomizer and we do not count that, our measurements are how much liquid is put into the tank when filling it. You can find most of these listed on the FAQ page. I still have a few more to update on the new 15mm tanks.

Personally for the MVP I think the both the 19 and 22mm tanks look great. The device itself is 22mm thick and the beauty ring is 19mm diameter so it really leaves it up to you on what capacity you get. I like the 22 Standard as probably my most go to size then the 22 HalfLing is a close second for that uber classy look. Word of advice though that the HalfLing cartomizers dont seem to last as long as the Standard and XL, as inexpensive as they are I dont worry too much about that if I am wanting my vape to look its level best.

Sorry Skoot, cant be of much help with the Iken stuff, standard length is still standard length though if that helps any. Maybe one of those folks can pop in with some help.

I am still using the Smok cartos myself and havent seen any need to look for something else. As long as I can pretend to smoke and it convinces my mind well enough I am happy :)

I will say here since it is against forum rules for a vendor to post in another vendors thread without permission I hereby grant that permission not only to Iken but to any other vendor who might want to post in the IBTanked forum. Personally I think this is a silly rule but it is what we live by, I know I would like to post in the Provari forum at times because we are linked pretty closely but have not bothered to ask if its ok, kind of the how many hours are in a day sort of thing. I did get to talk with the Provape guys at Vegas and I would have to say they seemed to be about the most stand up folks I have met in this business so I dont think it would be a problem but you just cannot assume things.

Six months ago, after loving cigarettes for 51 years, I quit "by accident" after receiving the e-cig starter kit I had ordered "just" to use in restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I put the clearo/eGo next to my pack of analogs and, since then, every time I've had the desire to inhale some "smoke", exhale some "smoke" and get a hit of nicotine...I chose the e-cig. It's just so much more pleasurable!

After going through a succession of clearomizers...a few weeks ago I ordered my first IBTanked cartotank. WOW!!! What a step-up from clearomizers!!!

So...now that I'm "serious" about cartotanks I have 2 questions:

1. Is there a page or thread on ECF with pictures of different IBTanked Cap/Tube color combinations? (When I ordered mine I was mainly concerned with size for my iTaste VV's [ended up with 19mm, XL] and didn't really think of what color combos would look best on my White, Black or Silver VV's.)

2. What is "special" about the IBTipsy drip tips (in that they cost 2-4 times what the other drip tips cost)? And has anyone developed a "preference" for the Pawn vs. Rook vs. Bishop?

gerrymi (guessing sir) Here is a link to a thread where folks post pics of their tanks. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/484566-ibtanked-show-em-off.html The IBTipsy is made here in the states by the same vendor that makes the caps. So perfect match. Highest quality material available and the engineering of the tip insures that they sit flush on the tank no matter what brand of carto you're using. They have a recess underneath to accommodate the fit so there is no gap between the tank and tip. Very innovative and well designed. I am a fan of the Rook but I believe it's more of personal preference. Just a suggestion but I have saved a copy of the color chart so that I may magnify it to really see the colors well. I have mentioned to OCD sir that the pictures on the site really do not do the product justice. They really are gorgeous and the ladies do a great job on each and every hand painted tank. They are great folks and "Living The Dream" as a family business together. Hope that helps and enjoy the day! PS: Congratulations on making the switch!

It's been a while since I ordered and I see things have changed. My old stand by was the Platinum Punch LR for a ProVari with a standard Ibtank. What's the equivalent now?

It's still pretty standard. Regular=Standard, Mega=XL. Not sure how long you've been out, but I'd recommend the Fusion for thingy fiddlin' (if you are sticking with Iken's cartos, that is). The flangless cartos don't like to stay in place when you're using the thiny method. The last one I tried got pushed up from the bottom of the carto & 3/4's of my tank ended up in the thingy.
