it seems like the majority of vids i see online are people so wrapped up in ecigs i doubt they have any desire to ever quite them. i was just wondering about the people here.

personally i do want to eventually quite them. part of it is i want to slowly get down to 0 nic. if im off the nicotine addiction then i dont see the need to keep vaping. the reason, which is kind of funny. is we dont know the long term effects. when i smoked 40+ cigs a day i never really cared or gave it much thought. maybe because i knew what the risks were and chose to deny them. but something about the unknown worries me more. mind you im not exactly worried and yea im pretty sure they will end up proven to be pretty damn safe, but i just dont see the benefit for myself to keep doing it forever. im not judging if you do, this is just my personal opinion.

just wondered if anyone elses end goal is to completely quit. since it seems everywhere else i go people seem to have just taken as an alternative to smoking with no desire to quite, even many who are down to 0 nicotine.

Im down to 6 mg nic and vape 0 nic at night. I have no more cravings but I have no desire to quit vaping. I enjoy it way to much. Now I know if they do find someway to outlaw them that I would prob be fine without it but until then Im gonna keep on vaping away. '

I look at it this way...there are so many chemicals and crap in the food we eat that vaping is the least of my worries.

Not a bad question. Even if I get to the point where I'm at 0nic, I will probably continue to vape. I do not know how to do nothing. I cannot just sit and relax. For over 30 years I've relaxed with a cig and now an ecig for over a year. I just don't know how to sit with my hands in my lap doing Nothing.

But then I thought I would never be able to give up smoking. I'm learning to never say never ;)

I hope that is the end goal. I am at 24mg nicotine now and hope to get down to six mg someday. Right now it is not on my list of priorities. After smoking 42 years it ain't happening over night. Been vaping for four months and having the odd smoke. About one every two or three days. Now decided to stop totally with cigarettes. CHEERS!

Not only my hands, but my whole persona was tied to smokes. That's what I'm having the hardest time with. Everything in my daily routine was tied to having a smoke while doing this activity or that activity. I was John the Smoker for 50 yrs., now I'm trying to become John the Vaper, displacing John the Smoker. How will I ever become Just John?? It's disconcerting, to say the least. Some days I feel like John the Zombie!!
