I was wondering who of you guys try and convert analog smokers over to the light side? Personally I love to talk about vaping to anyone who will listen, and I have helped to get some people to switch. I was just wondering what your guys thoughts were, maybe you think its rude or too pushy? Maybe you think its our civic duty to inform anyone and everyone about the great alternative to cigs that is vaping?

I won't walk up to an imperfect stranger who's smoking and sermonize vaping. No. But, if a smoker asks me what I'm doing and why, I certainly do my best to explain the advantages of vaping over death sticks. I've even helped a few smokers switch to vaping. In fact, I'm taking a neighbor to my vape shop on Saturday to help him buy his first mod system.

Diddo. Especially true if I'm out on the town touring bars. Step outside to the smokers area to get some vape in and its 20 questions by at least one smoker. Maybe I should keep a soap box in the trunk for those special times when I've got more than a single listener.

I think I may have influenced a co-worker. They asked about my little Evod, and still being so new to vaping I rhapsodized a bit. Now she has bought a kit for both herself and her spouse. I'll admit that being able to encourage someone to try it is exciting, especially that now I'll have someone to talk to about vaping! ^_^

I tried preaching the vape. Unfortunately I was in church at the time. I asked the music director, a young guy who shreds on a Gibson, to lead me out with "Smoke on the Water" He's a good sport so he and the drummer play along. I turned off the alter lights so just the spots were on me and I walked out blowing epic clouds with a .3 ohm quad coil 100% VG malt whiskey juice. Anyways, I got about 30 seconds in when a couple of old ladies fainted and I was tackled to the ground by half a dozen ushers. I spent the next 3 hours supposedly being exorcised from whatever demons were possessing me. I had many burrito supremes the night before so the elders just believed the horrible smell coming out of me was from hell but in reality it was just from Taco Bell.

Anytime something has changed you world and you become passionate about it..........yes you welcome questions and try to help anyone who will listen. I helped a friend with COPD and it was wonderful seeing her improvement. Her doctors were amazed too. I guess the fact that I am not sane and have never met a stranger also has something to do with it.:sneaky: I sure wish someone had talked to me about it but I never saw anyone vape until I started. I can't wait until it is odd to see someone with a real cigarette. :D

I have yet to have someone ask me, but I really only vape at home and in my car. The thing I love about vaping is how I can not vape for 3 days and be fine now that I'm down to 6mg. I did, however, get some people at my b&m into mods after they saw me blowing clouds while they sucked away at their evods. I would never preach it as most people aren't going to change unless they want to change. I think most people get turned off at the complexity before it becomes a hobby. There is so much to learn, and I didn't think I would ever move past cigalikes. Then when I realized how much cheaper it was to refill, I didn't think I would ever move past the ego. Now, I'm stuck in this money hungry hobby of cloud chasing and coils and rdas :)

The oldest person ever, a French woman who lived for 122 years smoked till 115 (I believe). She stopped smoking because she could not light her cigarettes by herself anymore and was too embarrassed to ask for help.

Suppose I talked her out of smoking at the young age of 65… Would she ever forgive me?

Do not mess with other people lives.
