I do stealth vape in my office and no one complains. Mainly as when I do it is out of hours. I don't really have fixed work times.

There is an e-cig policy in the company so in work hours outside I trot with the smokers. Never used a cigalike so they know the score when my ProVari or VMod appears lol

Recently had a change of manager to a guy who is based out of state who was surprised to see a mod when I popped outside and he came to find me. Led to a 3 minute chat but he was relaxed.

I do, but it is super secret lockdown stealth. Vaping is banned at the hospital I work in. I knew this was gonna happen before I started working there so I made sure to never ever let anyone know I vaped during the one month I worked there when vaping was legal. I always go to the one holer bathroom and vape in there. I carefully planted the "I have a small bladder" seed in their brains the first day I started working there. That way my frequent "pee" breaks were expected.

I did have 1 patients family that knew I vaped though. When I went in the room to pass meds, I noticed a charger with an 18650 batt in it. I knew what it was most likely for.....I have the same set up......and asked what they were charging a batt for. The patients sister said "oh I am a vaper.......I promise I won't do it in the room". I smiled at her and asked what mod she used and she smiled back and whipped out her purple silver bullet with a super sweet tank. I showed her my silver vein sb and we were instant comrades. I told her no one in the hospital knew my secret, and I knew she wouldn't tell. We swapped quitting smoking and vaping stories over the next few hours. It was so awesome!! I wish I had someone else in my life that vaped that I could talk to in person. We don't even have a brick n mortar here in Kansas city.

Sometimes it makes me sad that I have to be so secretive about it. I am proud, and my husband is proud that I am 22 months stinkie free. Maybe someday I can come out of the vaping closet.

You two should petition the hospital to allow vaping.

I work mostly out of the house now, so I could vape at home, but I rarely do. I enjoy vaping in places where smoking is prohibited because it helps to "normalize" e-cigs in indoor public places. I've seldomly been to the office this year, and I haven't vaped in there yet. That's because I've either forgotten my PV at home OR I had a meeting and I didn't want to cause a distraction with my large clouds of vapor. When I'm doing presentations for customers, I never vape because I'm constantly talking, and once again it would be a distraction to my customer.

I'm planning to vape inside when I go to the office next week though. I will be there for a long period of time.

I work at a hotel, mostly "on the desk" in the eyes of our paying guests. Perception being everything in this business, I don't vape on the job. I still go outside on my breaks, why some might ask, because I work indoors 8 - 14 hours a day, I want, nay need my fresh air exposure. Our outside break area is half smoking, half non. I sit kind of on the edge most of the time. I get questions. Unless I'm in a "need my peace" mood, I'll gladly answer. Already got one of the restaurant guys to goto the local store and buy a PV. Others are getting more and more interested now since I have gone 7 weeks. About to get one of our concierge to try it. She's an after meal smoker. Gonna point her to the Volt I think. She has maybe a total of 4 cigarettes a day.

I have vaped in our "back office" area a couple of times just in a demonstration type manner to show some nonsmoking coworkers how it actually works. I had a very strong coffee flavor in at the time, and they were all gaga over the smell. :) I mostly use 18 or 24mg on breaks so I don't get too many nicfits while working, but if I do, I'll grab a puff or two in the bathroom to get me by.

All in all I don't mind going out near the smoking area. The smell doesn't bother me as much as it did when I first switched and well, smoking was a social habit as well. I like out break time conversations a bunch of us would have and if I didn't go outside when I do, I would miss on catching up with people.

Hi,

That's my main reason for not stopped smoking already. We have a smoking area at the office but I don't feel comfortable vaping there and have all the other people looking at me. It's my problem, I know and a have to overcome that.

Only one other guy vape here that i know of and he vapes in the stairs.
Join him! Start your own vaping area. :)

I never have it out of my mouth, I use it in the office, in my van, in the shops I deliver to, in the loading bay everywhere.

I was sat in my van while vaping today when a police car pulled up at the lights right next to me, he gave me a funny look but couldn't do anything... I was laughing hard on the inside :pervy:

I vape in my office nobody says anything I don't do it when people come in my office or in a users cubicle or office or walking down the halls and I wouldn't do it in front of the facilities manager because I'm not sure how she would feel about it. I still go out with the smokers just to get some air and away from my desk it's funny the reactions I get from my provari with a 3ml carto tank on it. "is that legal" "is that dope" "is that a hooka" and the guy that introduced me to e-cigs back in 2008 is still smoking he seems pretty interested in my provaris I think I'm going to convert him back

I Vape all day at work. My boss knows but I keep it low profile so no one has the chance to complain lol i have heard everything from it smells like pee in here to smells like maple syrup to air Freshener....

Sometimes I forget and blow a huge cloud and someone walks by and says discreetly are you smoking in here? I laugh and then it launches into a huge conversation asking me if it works how it works and everybody has someone they have in mind for one.....then how much?

ECF should pay me as a spokesperson!

When it comes to money questions first thing I say DON'T BUY ONE FROM THE MALL LOL.....!!!
