But the nicotine component of cigarettes is NOT what causes cancer. Nonetheless I'm sorry about your grandmother as I am for anyone that dies or suffers from cancer of any sort.

lobbyists are a cancer

Do you think that if every person who vaped pooled their money together we could pay off some politicians to vote in our favor?

OR

Should we just take pictures of the politicians with women or ?, in compromising positions and black mail them to vote in our favor?

Plan A would work if there were enough of us.
Plan B would work if it was a dead ...... or a young boy.

Plan A won't work unless WE have enough money and the volition to keep lining politicians' pockets on a continuing basis ad infinitum. Politicians are always for sale to the highest bidder.

Nicotine does not cause cancer, one of the interesting things nicotine does, however, is break down monoamine oxidase. Monoamine oxidase destroys dopamine, an important chemical found to be low in people with parkinson's and alzheimers disease.

Good point! I plan on hanging right here at 6-12mg/ml for the duration. I have ADD, function way better with nicotine than without it. Nicotine by itself is not a carcinogen.
Here's some interesting reading:

Matters of science are not subject to opinion. Nicotine has never been found to be carcinogenic, and nobody will change that finding by opinion alone.

Science is based on observable, repeatable results. Inviting opinion adds nothing to the discussion (at least not at this level). This is the big problem with the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, et al. They are lobbying on opinion rather than science, to the detriment of all of us.

In matters of health and well-being, science trumps opinion.
