dont throw it away...mod it...or remember...lighters are good for more than just cigs...Candles BBQ......

and now back to our regularly scheduled program...

YES it does...Prroof...look at me or one of the millions of others on this forum...

Our power went out a few nights ago and I was sitting in a dark room full of unlit candles with no lighter anywhere to be found. I used to have one within arm's reach at all times.

I have a 510 on the way. I sure hope it helps me quit smoking. I also need to find a way to get my wife to quit smoking also.

The 510 is a great way to start, but the key is figuring out what about "smoking" that is most important to you: Most people find that having something the size and shape of a cigarette isn't as important as battery life, flavor, and vapor production.

If you don't like your first e-cig better than smoking or find that you are still smoking occassionally, don't give up but try other flavors, nicotine strengths, atomizer styles, or "big battery" and other modifications until you find your personal "sweet spot". Everyone is different so don't be disappointed if a combination that some people think is perfect isn't a good fit for you--one of the great things about vaping is that it is completely customizable: If you don't like it, change something until you do!

Well, I quit smoikng 2 months ago, first i used some tobacco flavors and now i am combine some light tobacco flavores ( like desert ship from FA ) with some fruit flavor like bananna. I like also tiramisu and caramel, sometimes i like fruit flavors sometimes tobacco flavors, but most important is, that i really quit smoking, no more smelly room, smelly clothes..

I just started vaping about a month ago, completely leaving behind cigarettes. I had no problem, whatsoever, with a smooth transition from analogs onto my kr808 model from Smokeless Image. I've tried a few analogs here and there, and they taste like crap. I love the flavors of e-cigs; and what a variety there is too.

Yes, it does indeed. I've been vaping on and off for about 3 months now, and have only had one problem: availability. There was a problem with the web site where I order my refills, so I switched back to regular cigarettes for about a week. When I did get my refills, however, it was no problem to switch back. In fact, since smoking real cigarettes is now much less appealing (compared to the e-cig), I smoked less during that week, and now I find that my refills are lasting longer.

I smoked a pack a day for over 20 years, and I highly recommend the e-cigs. I started out with 18mg. I plan on ordering the next lower dosage soon, but I haven't tried cutting back on the nicotine yet.

Great...I hope I can too.

Of course. We all generally want to stop smoking even if only cause of the cash or the smell. My main point is don't put too much pressure on yourself before you even get the pv. Besides, you may turn out to be one of those folks who needs a 6V box mod + 36mg juice to be truly satisfied. ;)

Yes. I was a 40 year PAD Kool smoker, and I didn't want to quit. I started vaping to be able to take care of my cravings where I wasn't allowed to smoke cigarettes. The first hit on my first eGo, something clicked in my brain and I KNEW I could do this instead of smoking. That gave me the impetus to find the right juice level (24mg) and set-up (eGo with 2ohm Boge cartomizers) to quit. I DID have to think about it, but it was fairly painless. I even got through rough patches thanks to my purchase of a no fuss/no muss REO Mini, which actually makes vaping easier than smoking.

Helped me quit cigarettes for sure. Smoked 1 1/4 packs a day until I started vaping 3 months ago. After some initial trial and error, during which I smoked a couple packs when I couldnt get the vaping right, I completely quit cigarettes. Stick with it if youre just trying it out as it will take a while to get the pv suited to you and your lifestyle. Im using an Ego with drip tips and only problem is burning it dry everyonce in a while or wearing the battery down. Fixed that with another Ego set so I have 4 batts all the time, at least 2 charged. Took awhile to settle in on liquid I liked, but after trying 3 other vendors I found so far Nhaler Drewbacco1, USA mix, and coffee offer the best flavors for my tastes (just my opinion)
