In my experience, I started with two kr808 pcc kits and the battery does not recharge fast enough to get vaping again for me. I wasn't able to quit smokes til I got an eGo and another riva 510. Its good to have a backup or two, I rarely good through more than three batteries a day. My pops had kits from smokeless image and its just harder to get replacement parts for it other than at their site which is pricey. He wasn't able to quit til I got him a t-rex carto kit. Got his from liberty flights, it has boge cartomizers which have a pretty good hit to them and are easy to refill. I've heard good things about boge cartos, though I can't say from my own experience since I'm more of a dripper.

I know. I am so impatient b/c I am eager to get rid of the analogs. That's why I want to make sure I don't run out of anything. Don't want any reason to have to go back to em, ya know?

Don't make yourself crazy over this. Any of the kits mentioned you'll do well with. Shipping is fast from most vendors. If your unhappy with what you get, which I doubt, most places let you return them. If not, sell them in the classifieds here. I might put one on I've never used too.

Juice, everyone usually goes though a ton until they find one they love.

Order and enjoy!

i thought they were the same thing??

eGo batteries are 510 compatible, they work with 510 cartos/attys, etc., but eGo batteries are larger and last longer between charges, they also need a more powerful charger to charge in a reasonable amount of time, though they will fit in a standard 510 charger. You can charge an eGo battery with a standard 510 charger, but it takes about 4 times as long... it is not recommended to charge a standard 510 in an eGo charger.

Get both. Get an ego and a 510. Parts (except the charger) are interchangeable.

Use the ego for heavy duty vaping. Use the 510 when you're out and about and want to look dashing!

Seriously, you can get both kits for about $60

+1 When you get both it gives you a lot of flexibility in how you vape and is the plan I am working on. Started with a kiosk auto kit and have a manual 510 w/ pcc on the way. Once I decide whether I really prefer the auto over the manual or not I will either be getting a Riva or echo next...maybe even jump right into the mods.

okay im definitely going with a joye ego, or a riva 510. im probably going to get the riva 510 carto deluxe kit. it comes with cartos instead of attys so then all i need is some extra juices to play around with and maybe a few more blanks. this is what the kit comes with.

2 x 750mAh Battery
5 x Boge 2.0 Ohm Cartos - These will require e-liquid as they are blank cartos
1 x Carrying Case - worth $17.99
1 x USB Fast Charger
1 x USB Mains Plug (US)
2 x Carto Deluxe Cone - Wider diameter hole especially for cartos

it is $42.99 on liberty flights.

This is an excellent kit to start with - I did, still love it - but I believe LF has been out of stock for quite some while. You could get one of the other Riva kits they offer and just order some Boge cartomizers to use (I would recommend the low resistance ones). REMEMBER to click the 20% off in the upper left-hand corner of the page before you order. Good luck!

when you say "low resistance", does that refer to how easy it is to pull air through? if so id definitely prefer high resistance.

Resistance is referring to the wattage, or how much heat is being applied to the juice. For example, if I choose a 3.0 ohm with an eGo type battery, the vapor will feel cool. A 2.0 ohm the vapor will be warmer, it goes down to 1.5 ohm for the warmest vapor. Your hardware itself is what will determine the resistance of the draw. An eGo style can be used with out the cone for an airy vape, or with the cone for more resistance. Let me know if I can be of any assistance!

I wanted the same kit but went with the one below it. I'm just as happy, only wish i had the extra cone. I got mine from LFs as well. They were great to deal with. And yes, get lots of juice. Go to classifieds for that, you can get more vendors and more strengths without all the separate orders and additional shipping costs. You'll get some juices you never would have tried. What you dont lie you can re-post for sale again. Oh, and when you find a juice you MIGHT like if it were stronger, go to a local cake or candy supply store and get flavoring to intensify it.

and does anyone know of any other vendors that carry a carto kit like this?

I recommend shopping around a little now that you've decided on 510 equipment. Take a look at these links.

MadVapes 510 Ego Kit with Carrying Case 49.00 (900mah batts)
Bargain Bin 2 ea. = 20.00
Smok Tech 2.0 ohm 510 Cartomizers 1 ea = 8.00

510 XL CLEAROMIZER 2.4-2.6 OHM 1 ea = 11.00
MadVapes 510 Dual Coil Stainless Cartomizer 2 ea = 4.00

You could even add some small batteries just to try them.
510 Manual Battery Carto Kit 1 ea 29.00

This gives you a chance to try a lot of different combos without breaking the bank and everything should get used up in the long run. In other words, I don't think you're going to hate anything on the list and it will all get used.
Good luck!! :vapor:
