Nice looking setup you have there. How are you finding their new rba? I was going to pick one up myself in time - but i tend to stick to old reliable s lately. Wishing we could get a hybrid adapter soon for the Fecit.

I've been a kayfun 3.1 fan boy since I got them when they first came out. I almost feel bad about how much I love the Heron. The only way I can really describe the heron vaping experience is that its like the vapor is a creamy cloud that fills my mouth with flavor and at the same time gives a perfect throat hit.

At fist i was like "what the hell is on that ELA" but then i realised you just had 2 extension rings on top. My ELA honestly has mostly just sat on my desk since i first got it - sounds stupid but i could not find anything i really liked to put on top of it with the right diameter it needs - still havent got around to getting the Strata to work on it either.

The Erlkönigin i would have picked up if they made some sort of nano kit for it. I made do with a kayfun 3.1 when they came out but much preferred the form factor of the lite - and then ofcourse the nano kit came out for it as well. The Erlkönigin was a little pricey as well but i really like the kayfun style build that they made - if it was just a little cheaper i may have gotten one.

On another note - here are some old prototype photos of the Dominus Lochaber (RDA) - What do you guys think about it? Honestly the main points that it has bottom airflow and hybrid for the Fecit is going to be a no brainer pick up for me. Plus the fact that you know its going to be crafted brilliantly - Do not know if i prefer it with the ridges on the side of the cap or without...

Prototype Lochaber as of April 2014 - Being a prototype i am sure there are going to be a few adjustments.

The strata was a little bit of a challenge (I have the p+18650 not ela)
The 23 mm Erlkönigin tank is a pretty match for the ela. Thinking about sending my accent rings to Dave for a satin finish.

The ELA was pretty much my daily carry unless going to the beach or some trip then I would use my Electric Angel, that thing is like a military .45 pistol, drop it in the mud, so what, drop it in the water, so what, blow it out and use it. But now, since I did the upgrade I haven't put down the Dom. Been like a week or so now.

The 22 mm Erlkönigin tank is great on my Dom

I got this message from David on facebook :

"Sounds like you have a kayfun lite... New hybrid conversion for the mod will eliminate the top cap to the mod for attachments that do not have bottom fed air... Makes it a little smaller. But don't misplace the top cap because it goes to the new tank. The Lochaber 2.0 RDA now a modular tank that I feel I have brought the best of an RDA and tank together. I have turned in the drawings and it is being started this week. I don't expect to have anything from the tank till the end of August but the ball is rolling!! Finally!!"

MASSIVE NEWS!!!

This is massive news - thanks for posting Kang. Sounds like we will get the best of both worlds having a tank and an rda. I have put some money aside for all this. Just need a release date now. Looking forward to the pics.

Just released today! The dominus Fecit hybrid conversion kit - Dominus: Hybrid Conversion | Dominus Mods

Info from Dominus website:
Customize your Dominus and get the latest performance edge with a Hybrid Conversion.

The Stainless Steel threaded ring works with most 510 attachments and unitizing a longer bottom battery contact, the top cap can be eliminated be from some assembly combinations. Providing the attachment with direct battery contact the Dominus is showing in the .08 voltage drop range, improving performance and battery life with the 18mm batteries.

Just picked one up. Really glad David put this together.

Ow and here is another new release - I had no idea this one was in the works... The Stealth Cap - Dominus: Stealth Cap | Dominus Mods

Info from Dominus website:
The Stealth Cap offers a seamless look for some of those attachments without the bottom airflow need.

The stainless steel cap accepts most 510 accessories with an adjustable center pin. Each Stealth Cap comes complete with the insulator and copper pin as shown, mod sold separately.

totally missed out on the hybrid cap UGGGH

Shocked more pics aren't up yet. He posted pics of the final RBA and it looks so sick. After a convo with David I found out it's actually going to start as a dripper but an upgrade will be released that makes it a TANK! I won't miss that dripper like I did the hybrid converter..

David was very accommodating about the Hilt. I felt that with engraving top and bottom and running the length of the tube it was too busy and he was happy to make one with just the top engraving for me.

He also said he's making more stealth caps and hybrid adapters for it, I would have got one but I just bought a Skeleton Key so no more spending for the rest of the year for me.

Being a tank guy I'm looking forward to his dripper/tank system he's working on, maybe he'll have something in time for ecc, he certainly has more time on his hands since he quit his job with the wipeout tv show.
