Done with top coil clearos

Thought I'd give top coils another try when I got my MVP and iTaste 134........BLAH!!!
iClear 30, T2, CE4, CE5, Vivi Nova, "...we hates them!!!! Bad topcoilsies!"



Going to order a ProVari on Monday, and use my PT2's on it until somebody can point me in the direction of a toppper from the vape God.
Evods give me the same run around, ugh, ugh, ugh!

I was pretty loyal to my mini-novas for a while but as soon as I tried an evod, it was over. I still have a few mini novas in thier wrappers and some extra heads but they just sit there waiting for the vape-apocolypse because I have totally switched to evods and protanks.

Every single one I've had leaks or leaks soon after the 2nd, 3rd tank full of juice, total frustration, and they're what I originally started with back in January.....I just don't get along very well with them.........urgh!

what matters is using what WORKS for you!

If you dont mind that they cannot be rebuilt the Aspires are fantastic.

That pretty much mirrors my consensus regarding clearomizers of any kind, top or bottom coil. I can't be bothered with them. The wicks mute the flavor too much for me, giving it an off taste. Also, hits are inconsistent. I hate burnt hits. Once I switched to carto tanks, I never, ever looked back. I keep a few iClear 16's around to test out flavors, and I keep two iClear 30's as back-ups, and I occasionally hit my Protank, but as a daily go-to delivery device? Nope. Clearos are inherently flawed, in my opinion.

Gee I love my novas that I rebuild. They have lasted me over a year. If I had as good a luck with the bottom coils I would be there. It just boils down to what works for you.

This! X2 my Protanks are collecting dust.

For me it's the other way round - didn't have much luck with BCCs, always leaking fast. OTOH have CE5 ( with springloaded centerposts ) that I've rebuilt 6 or 7 times and still going good, seals still tighter than a nun's panty...

Exactly this....^^^^^ different strokes for different folks. Personally I love the ProTank 2's....

To each his own.I love T2s over just about anything. I use eVODs occasionally for out and about, but all of the other bottom coils are just too airy and cool for my taste.

I was never a big fan of ProTanks or Vivi Novas. I even moved on to rebuildables, but then I ran across an Ithaka clone (an ismoka Magoo). It's now my favorite top - and pretty much the only one I've used for the past month. Rebuilding it requires two kinds of wires, but they can be purchased pre-made (The wire at least). The build of the coil probably looks a lot more intimidating than it really is.

An accurate description in my mind. I prefer the BCCs but sometime I like the tighter, warmer draws of my iClear 30s and it just depends on my mood at the time.
