As some of you may know i joined this forum posting this:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/62068-e-cig-banned-mexico.html

Searching for a way to help me keep of smoke (today is almost a week tobacco free), and so for my father that is getting worse each day, he smokes 2-3 cigs a day but cant totally cut the tobacco so far, problem is hes 64 years old and might not last long if he continues smoking tobacco.

Sadly trying to buy from any store in the US has been a let down, most of them wont ship outside US, and the ones that do dont ship to Mexico, then theres the chinese stores but the shipping rate is pretty high and im not confident of the products quality, also anything that comes from China to Mexico gets promptly searched for piracy so is kinda risking it a lot to order from there.

I was thinking on making an ecig here with parts but kinda hard to make when i dont fully understand the concepts behind it, how much vapor the device produces, and a lot of questions i have that cant be completely answered without trying an actual device for myself.

So i guess is farewell for now, is a nice community you people got here and i hope someday this stupid ban is lifted from Mexico.

I wish there was something we could do. It is really sad that Mexico had a kneejerk reaction to electronic cigarettes. It isn't beyond the scope that BT might have had a huge hand in getting them banned their. Maybe one of the dealers here in the US can figure out a way to work with you and get what you need. Surely it's not impossible to ship something to Mexico.

Well it would take longer but dont you have any friends you can trust in the US? Just have a friend order it then have them send it to you.

Exactly. And have them ship it separate. Like batteries in one shipment. Cartys in another shipment (probably all blanks to be easy). And a few bottles of e-liquid with no orignal label.

Or maybe order from China and one order for batteries and chargers. A separate order for cartomizers. And a seperate order for a few bottles of e-liquid. You can even see if they will not use their label and instead use a label that says flavoring or something discreet. As long as it doesn't say e-cigarette or anything on the box, you'd probably be fine. And yeah, it would be a bit more for shipping for your first order. But if you order 50 cartomizers and a few batteries, you'll only need to order juice for a whillle.

Hmmm ill contact heaven gift in one of my last attempts in this for now, seeing they could re-ship if needed is great, and about the juice i dont think thats an issue since i do have a friend here that makes all kinds of cosmetic and chemical stuff so hes very familiar with laboratories and we could get liquid nic and flavours with no probs at all.

I wonder why U.S. suppliers won't ship to Mexico. Anyway, did you look at suppliers from other countries like the UK or Canada? Look on the sub forums for vapers in other countries. I would assume there are other Mexicans and/or South Americans. They must get there supplies form somewhere....

Because it is illegal as Juan said.

But Juan it is crazy huh? I'm a New Mexican and I live near Ciudad Juarez and used to travel back and forth quite a bit. I love Mexico but you know whats happened to Juarez. The crime is outrageous.

You would think the Mexican government would have better things to do than ban healthy alternatives to cigs.

After following the forums for a while I believe I have the knowledge to build one myself. Read the forums even if you go to analogs and eventually you can get back to vaping by making your own if necessary.

Juan, don't let fear stops you from buy from China, I can tell you my friend, I have bought a lot of times from heaven gifts, a lot of my friends have too, no one, not even once have had any problems at all.

One time the post office manager kept one of my shipments, but ironicly, the package came from the US, he wanted money for give it to me, I didn't accept, recently the guy was moved to another office and the problem is gone.

I have even had packages opened by customs and they didn't sized it, so DO NOT WORRY, BUY FROM CHINA, it is not a problem for small personal packages.
