Traffic aside, other places monitor DIGG for news. You crack first page, effects are long-lasting.
We should really do this more often; any time pro-vape stuff comes around. Hopefully, we can push this into something bigger. five or six stories pushed to the front page would be really helpful.
Is there a way to get the announcement to show up again - I was going to copy it and post it on the totally wicked forums, but I already hit the x to close the announcement...ugh new I should of left it alone.

Yeah, absolutely. If people here can coordinate the efforts there are other things we can do. Yahoo Buzz, FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube all have a way to promote a story.

Maybe SJ can create a sub-category under "Campaigning" just for the top "diggs of the Day" links or something and have it moderator approved based on thread ratings or something similar?? This way everyone would know what web page links to target with diggs, shares, tweets, etc and it would stay organized...
Maybe appoint a "Digg Moderator" who's sole responsibility would be managing just that sub-cat??

Articcle was DIGGED from the Caribbean Sea !(west Coast Puerto Rico) and forward to the largest News Paper, "El Dia" (ENDI.COM),in the Island !They posted the 7/22/09 article "no to the Electronic Cigarrette" from the FDA , lets see if they can do the same for this one too. !

I think it's a very good idea. The hard part is finding honest reporting from "respectable" news sources that we can digg.

Right now, that doctors video has had 177 views. Bet on YouTube it has seen far less views.
The big advantage of Pit-Tube is it doesn't have a billion other videos that distract people. Plus we're not sellouts to curb peoples videos to 10 minutes to make room for their big corporate bedfellows to post 60 minute episodes of bull****.
I just hope my bandwidth holds out. LOL
Other people will read it. That thread almost has 7000 views on it already.
