Update....

Hmmmm. OK.. I sure do vape off of these things a lot!! ;)

Actually, I ordered a bunch of material today so that I can dork around with the design a bit more and "refine" it. Stuff will probably be here by the weekend and I'm hoping to find some time to work on this.

But... but... but..... I've got this long list of stuff that I MUST get done on the boat before bikini season gets here. And it's coming quick.

Oh yeah.. and there's that "job" thing that keep on getting in the way too.... ;)

Honestly, with two full time jobs (three or four if you include being a husband and father)... I just don't have any desire or intention to build anything in any kind of volume.

My eternal hope and intent with these "Dream units" is that people will find them to their liking.. and then, like the "Detroit Auto Show", legitimate manufacturers will respond to that interest by enhancing their own designs to satisfy the customers and generate sales.

I... just like everybody else.. just want to be able to lay out some hard earned cash and buy a quality PV that satisfies my needs. There is not one of those on the market right now.

But heck.. maybe it will be like my boat..... nobody made on that had everything that I wanted, so I had to essentially build my own.

OK, then ... how 'bout pictures of that boat? :D

Michael

Well... if we're going to run off on a tangent.. then it's gonna be MY tangent damnit!

I live on a relatively small inland lake.. which we love. It has a low bridge clearance in one section (which creates a challenge), and if you have anything wider than 8.6', you're not going to be able to park at any of the bars or restaurants. The lake has nothing but bowriders, deckboats, and pontoon boats on it. And none of those are the "Scottbee way". So here is/was my solution:

The PC Project

Wait till you get to the end.. it just gets better and better. :p

It's like watching an episode of Pimp My Pontoon Boat! With all those cool upgrades, this might seem like an odd question - but seriously, where did you find that toilet paper holder? lol

Oh and I also really like the PV mods, too! Put me on the non-existent list of people in the imaginary line for a prototype. I don't think I could turn gay in order to try to steal you from your wife, but I would be open to being adopted - specially if I can get a go on that cool water-slide! :p

Very Very interesting reading Scottbee....Never even knew that something like that can be made...Just let me know when and where....And yes if you have a list Please put me on it.....WOW.....Great inventions.......

I totally second that, and I really think you should get these patented asap before someone else does. You have mad skillz for sure.

Wow! What a tour this thread is. TorneGo (thanks), boat, physics.....lol. I kept going to wiki for Venturi, then got caught up in Bernoulli, Piezo, et. Italia. Great job on all points. The boat was an incredible project/idea and despite all the complicated mechanics, the styling is just as impressive. That's a rare combo.

Best practical mod yet to be designed. Awesome work. So how long does the eGo battery last now that you've improved it to work at its proper 3.7v?

An excellent question.. one for which I don't have a good answer! The TorneGo battery that is modded to run at a full 3.7+V is also the one that is modded to work with the base charger. So I am always setting it down in the charger between vapes. Frankly, using it that way.... it just never dies! It's like a pass-thru without the cord. I'll try to get a feel for its longevity when I'm out and about this weekend.
