I thought everything was going good, it was smoking and turning red then it no longer smoked so I stopped.
Now it's reading 9.9 in my Vamo V5 and does nothing. I've tried it on my Vision Spinner and ... Nothing!
did I OVER burn and burn it up?
thanks

Should read I clear 30s, thanks

Yes, you popped the coil. 9.9 on the Vamo means zero - no ohms. When dryburning watch the coils if you can - don't let them go bright orange. When I dry burn, once the whole coil is red I stop. But like you, I learned that through having a coil pop.

Yeah, the coil is done, this will happen to every coil eventually. Could be from over heating it, but I woud'nt worry to much about that, other than make sure your not using to high a voltage to do it, I usually stay at 3.7v or lower. All coils are not created equally, some die out sooner than others. Keep on truckin.
