this isnt for u ned i know u are deaf to my comments and have said before u dont want to know technical stuff.. lets say its for others who might be interested and happen to read this thread..
the little 10340 AAA sized cigar
batteries are unprotected lithium cells this means that they have no over or under charging circuitry built into them.. such cells should only be used by people who know something about them.. used in ignorance they are dangerous..
a volt meter should be used when charging such cells.. they should never be allowed to go over 4.2 volts.. and they should be taken off charge when the charger goes green.. if u are not sure off their state of charge put a volt meter on them..
a protected lithium cell (a normal e cig battery is protected) has its own control circuitry built into it.. this circuitry prevents the cell from being charged beyond 4.2 volts.. it also prevents the cell from being taken down below 2.7 volts..
overcharging an unprotected cell will make it catch fire.. under charging (letting it go flat) an unprotected cell will destroy it..
as for u ned.. u are being saved by the very thing u refuse to believe.. your charger wont let u overcharge them because it switches off..
but there is nothing to stop u running them down beyond their safe point.. when u do u will kill the cell.. it will never take another charge..
this information has been given out repeatably but for some reason completely beyond my comprehension some people just refuse to believe it..
they seem to think its "just my oppinon".. he he he..
a simple google search will confirm that "my opinion" just happens to go along with the "opinion" of anybody else who knows anything at all about lithium battery technology..
this place gets stranger by the day.. ignorance might be excusable.. but not when its brought about thru choice..
