So Apostle you've managed to get a bling, batteries, charger and five cartridges for less than £30 including postage? Let us know the final cost of everything.
Havent ordered it yet kate , just trying to weigh up the cheapest options, but to be honest there's not a great deal difference.

Going direct to wayne and getting just the atomizer and 5 carts , then going to DE and getting 2 batts and a double charger works out at £31.06.( $54.90 )standard airmail, or with EMS shipping it's £38.42.( $67.90 )

When i do order it ( next week me thinx ) i'll go for a spare atomizer and 50 carts i reckon , keep me going for a bit plus save a little on shipping also as it'll be one consignment.
When it's here i'll post what i got exactly and total cost ;)

Buying direct does get you more though dude single atomizer and led cap from wayne then buying the rest of dealextreme .. 6 batts instead (2) twin charger rather than the single ruyan charger which is dangerous imo
let us know when it all arrives mate.

Because "value" is another subjective judgement.

not really leaford only to a guy like u where money is no object..(smiley) for example two otherwise identical products but one costs twice the price of the other isnt subjective its fact..
If they are truly identical then it's not a comparison of value, as their value is identical; it's only a price comparison.

But don't be coy, Trog, say what you really mean. This is just another re-hashing of the brand versus generic argument. And in that case, the two are NOT truly "otherwise identical." If a brand comes with a one year guarantee, and the generic comes with 30 days, then it becomes a subjective judgement which one is a better value, even if they are the same device from the same manufacturer.

i know such a concept is hard for u and some others to get to terms with but it happens.. and should play a part in any decent review..
Trog, I have been trying to stay civil with you ever since my last temper tantrum, and I have been succeeding. But snarky comments like that make it damn hard. Please don't presume to tell me what concepts I have trouble with. Just because we disagree on what is a better value, doesn't mean I don't understand the concept of value.

As for my reviews, I always list the price, rate the performance, detail the guarantee and service, and leave the value judgement to the viewer/reader, as it should be.

bang for buck would be the american term.. 90% of the quality for 10% of the price has to be worth something..
You always have to give BS numbers and figures, don't you? Kindly give me your example. What two ecigs do you have in mind, where one is 90% of the quality for 10% of the price of the other?

to a potential buyer that is.. perhaps not to a connoisseur.. personally where an e cig is concerned i dont think quality can simply be bought.. if it could there would be no need for reviews..

i could be wrong here but i think u like "quality" and put great store in it.. u are a connoisseur and perhaps should keep this in mind some people reading your reviews might be potential buyers..

trog
Well, thank you for the compliment, but your use of "connoisseur" is puzzling. You seem to imply that someone who is highly knowledgeable (a connoisseur) is somehow different than a buyer. Or that the viewpoint of a highly knowledgeable person is different than that of a buyer. Or some such nonsense. How exactly do you see me as different than buyers? Let me clue you in; I'm not. I AM a buyer.

And, yes, I do put great store in quality. It is what I look for, and what I demand from any e-cig I reccomend. Lots of vapor, easy draw, reliable performance. I seem to recall you saying just recently that that's what you look for too, so maybe I'm not some special class of buyer, after all, eh?

We've danced this dance before, Trog. You see me as a brand name booster. I'm not. But I have found a couple brands that have delivered superior quality and performance, and I also see value in a good guarantee. You do not agree.

Still say value isn't subjective?

Right back to e cigar thread..ive just ordered the generic e cigar (semi automatic) from dealextreme for dripping pillboxes 36mg..it gets good reveiws for £14 what a bargain..you can really abuse the atomizer at these prices hehe..knutselpeter seems impressed heres what he said.

Deal Extreme Generic E-Cigar Health Electronic Cigarette with Chargers Batteries and Refills.

Posted by knutselpeter on 12/8/2007
Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

(5 being highest mark)

Price: Fives stars
Ease of Use: Five stars
Build Quality: Four stars
Usefulness: Five star
Overall Rating: Five Stars

Pros: Easy to use
Works every time
Chapest E-smoker to buy
Lots of smoke

Cons: the switch cover looks handcut by a kindergarten kid

Other Thoughts: I am already an electronic smoker for some months now and all the outher (automatic) cigarettes / cigars / pipe are changing in smoke production each moment you use it.
But this one smokes optimal every time.

Bottomline: After testing it for 2 days I ordered 4 more immediately, so good is this item.

Kit I think you could have got this as cheap in the UK. I may be wrong but the box looks familiar have a look.
But I have never ordered from these but I was considering of buying a boat load if they were any good.
acupuncturesupply.co.uk
I think it my me slightly different mark.. the carts look different but the packaging is the same..might be a different manufacturer whos made it.. so performance might be different.. there all copys of the ruyan so who knows?
let me know when youve tried it...

I probably won't bother at the moment kit I've got the gold as you know and pillbox cheapo and for the price of £19 99 works great.
But I might have three as the sedansa cigar got returned a few days ago saying we had addressed it all wrong so in all returning that twice would have cost me £25 but you could consider their cigar carts as they're not bad at all their Turkish which they give standard with their cigars and the Havana Cubana are quite nice to.

Kit at the moment I'm trying to charge these ruyan batteries up in the pillbox charger as when they came charged last night they seemed to be weak and pillbox batteries work in the ruyan good.
When they were charging yesterday the batteries did not feel warm when charging like they normally do on pillbox charger.
When I first put the
ruyan batteries on charge today with pillbox charger they were reading red for quite a while and now have gone to green so I think I will keep them on for a while yet to see if this improves them.

The sedansa cigar looks totally identical down in the atomiser chamber but the batteries that came with this are the same as pillbox cheapo batteries are common type which you normally see in grey and red the rating on these 3.6 V 360MAH but I know the
ruyan at 3.7.

Not sure leaving them on charge after green the light has come on ned.whats the sedansa cigar like compared to the ruyan?

Sedansa and
ruyan cigar smoke pretty identical to each other as down inside the atomiser chamber look the same where the atomiser on these two brands is larger than your Generic type they both seemed to have an easier draw to them.
But saying this the mouthpiece sometimes does make a difference on the branded cartridges.
Example put a Janty cartridge on a
Generic pen style and it will give it easier draw than the Generic cartridges.
All branded atomisers which I have tried sedansa, Janty, ruyan, are all bigger down inside than the Generic ones so the combination of the atomiser and the mouthpiece makes a difference
