All around the world
Ecig vaping is on it's way
All around the world
Ecig vaping is on it's way
You can smell those juices burnin'
All night and all through the day

That may be a big part of the problem. A lot of e-smokers that are using what's available in the stores from BT, and are just not aware of the better equipment we use.
I forget which one now, but an e-cig just started airing on tv ads here. I see that as both good and bad. Good to help get the word out about e-cigs, but bad, as this is all a very large number of the people will see, and be aware of.

Currently, only one of the brands sold in stores is owned by BT, and that is only because the company bought a thriving e-cigarette company. As the news is reporting, however, the rest of the tobacco companies are jumping in now.

The brands sold in stores do all tend to be cig-alikes, but better models are starting to appear, and one company is even offering a much higher nicotine content for their disposables, which tends to make up for the underpowered hardware.

The fear that smokers won't find alternatives to the cig-a-like which they might
not find satisfying has been a concern of many for a long time. However, I suggest
the word gets out and vapers favorite subject to talk about is their vape machine
and what else is available on the market.

Heck ... My little tiny mom & pop fast food convenience store is now carrying
the eGo and liquids.

The word gets around ... sooner or later
But keep in mind ... E-cigs are not for everyone
even if they would try the most powerful vape machine ever invented.

And don't forget that pretending that e-cigarettes never existed before tobacco companies got into the business gives her another point of emotional negativity with which to snare the unwary, unknowing folks in the audience. I especially liked, "Tests have found harmful chemicals inside, nothing comparable to cigarettes but Vicki says cancer causing."

Two can play that game.

Vicki recommended that smokers who want to quit stick with Nicotine Reduction Therapy (NRT) products, such as patches, gum, and lozenges. NRTs are proven to be effective, since many smokers use them to quit--repeatedly, year after year. One reason for this is that nicotine doses have been carefully controlled to prevent consumers from becoming addicted. The beauty of this schema is that even though 95% of NRT customers relapse within the first year, the repeated failures can be blamed on the victims themselves, rather than on the products.

NRTs are proven to be safe, since they contain the same eight nanograms of cancer-causing chemicals as e-cigarettes.

Smokers are warned to stay away from e-cigarettes, since the higher nicotine levels and appealing flavors may make them acceptable as a permanent substitute for smoking, thus endangering both corporate profits and tax revenues, Vicki concluded.

just a bump for a perfect post :)

At this point ...
I suggest e-cigarettes have taken on a life of their own
regardless of what we think here on the ECF regarding "the fight".

I suggest the majority of e-smokers never heard about the ECF
and only vaguely know information about those opposing e-cigs
because they are aware of some e-smoking bans where they work
and possibly in some establishments.

Just my opinion

i also opine that most people who are vaping are using disposable gas station ecigs, and have no idea about the wealth of vaping supplies available. i sure didn't before i came here.

edit: well what i just wrote was kinda redundant, cause i hadn't read the above posts yet. sorry.

Those who are curious and want more ... will find alternatives.
Doesn't take long on Google to see other types of e-cigs.
We can't hand hold everyone ... but we would like to !!

PS
Many of us have the false impression everyone who vapes
a cig-a-like probably is not satisfied and want more ...
Just because many of us have moved up the ladder
doesn't mean there aren't tons and tons of vapers
who are satisfied with the cig-a-like.

I know it is an extremely unpopular thing to say.
However, MANY ECF members prefer their favorite cig-a-like.
Don't hear from them often ... because many get "snickers"
from those who prefer their Super Vape Machines.

I would still be vaping the cig-a-like Joye 510 ...if it wasn't for the battery life issues.

yeah me too, and as for what you said before about ppl being satisfied with those cigalikes, there is a very popular thread here devoted to joyetech erolls, and the people there seem perfectly happy with them.

When I first started, I was using a KR808D. I wish I could be satisfied with a s/u like that now for out and about running around. But now I just can't get the vapor, and satisfaction out of a s/u like that. :(
After years of vaping ...
I no longer inhale with every puff.
Have to admit that I'm addicted to the smoking (vaping) experience
and do enjoy blowing the Huge Satisfying Vapor Clouds my super vape machine
is capable of creating.

The e-cig experience, unlike smoking, has many facets
and because there are so many options and choices ...
We do seem to experiment based on our separate
wants, needs, and desires.

In a kinda-sorta odd way ...
E-smoking can be an addictive "Hobby"

Short story ...
There's a very small local "mom & pop" fast-food store
around the corner from where I live. I've been shopping
there for many years.

A year ago I noticed they had disposable e-cigs at the
check-out counter. No big deal.

2 few months ago ... I noticed a Blu e-cig banner on their front door
and there were Blu disposables at the check-out counter
along with 3 other brands of disposables.

Last month I noticed they added Blue rechargeables with the others
at the check-out counter.

Yesterday ... I noticed they were selling an "eGo" style e-cig
with a few flavors. Wow ... talk about e-cigs being "mainstream".

My friends ...
This is just a small local "mom & pop" fast-food convenience store
and the people working there know little about e-cigs and none of them vape ...
But they say E-cigarettes sell so they stock them.

E-cigarettes are here to stay !!
:)
I've seen the same progression at my local liquor store.

I went in the other day and they now have a few different prepackaged Ego battery options.
One of them even came with two different colored CE4s.

There was even one that has a small 10ml bottle of juice included.

I would love this "advanced" model to take off mainstream. BT will be hard pressed to keep up (unless they buy a e liquid company). Additionally the more new users needing "e-liquid" for their setups the more prevalence e liquid will have in the fight!

At least an e-roll giver the user flavor options a disposable can't. Anything to keep the market away from the giants is fine by me!

Vapers like a variety of choices ...
That's' why we are seeing eGo type vape machines
starting to show up in convenience stores.

If the FDA stays out of our way ...
We will soon see a variety of vape machines showing up
in stores .... everywhere.

It really wasn't that long ago ...
when the only place to buy e-cigs ... was on-line.
