I have no idea how web shops work but in my opinion there should be a minimal "reserve" time for items in a cart i.e. 10 minutes or so. I very quickly put the items I wanted in my cart (less than 2 minutes) right when they became available and wasn't able to get anything I had in my cart. It's not that big of a deal because I'm not the kind of guy to stress on much but, the one thing I really NEEDED to get (replacement steel window for Rivernut) vanished in a matter of seconds. That was a bit upsetting. Anyways, I have no doubt Vasilis and Imeo will satisfy all our GG needs and wants soon. Congrats to all those who got some new GG treasure:)

i gotta say, last time i preordered a year ago whit clouds of vapor i got a horrible shopping experience whit them, i got all that i needed and almost 3 months later when i got my package they did not send 1 piece i needed to finish my oddy, i asked them about it and just said ooops it wasent on stock and they refunded the 15 dollars or so and pretty much told me to .... off, then i got left whit around 170 dollars of oddy pieces i bought from 3 different sites unable to use my oddy only for dripping a year after.

now comes today, i know the preorder its at 11 am central usa time, so i waited past 15 min after 11 am because all the pieces are getting in stock 1 by 1, trying to get all the parts i need to complete that oddy i have there collecting dust, a few spares for my ithaka, ggts and a new penny v3, i get everything on the cart, i go to check out and oops the ithaka ss window its out of stock, dont mind that i ordered 3 clear windows, i proceed, i pay my cart by paypal, the first thing i get its an email saying that my order has been cancelled, i contacted vasilli right away and he respoded:

"Hello Manuel,

I see you have made an order but something was wrong and the system have canceled the order.

We have refund you your money back over paypal.

If you want you can make an new order"

to me this the worst kind of response a store manager can give me, i much rather get kicked in the stomach, and it translates to we messed up but we dont care what you wanted here is your money back.

we exchanged emailes for a around and hour trying to understand why i cudent place my ordered, by the time i placed my first order everything that i really needed was out of stock so how i was supposed to place a new ordered?

after a while he told me he would try to find the parts that i missed because their system keep messing up, they refunded my money twice, so i waited for his response again on a solution to this but no luck.

i keep trying to use the "reorder this order" option on their site for at least 30 min waiting for their system to restock what it was messed on my order and after a while it worked, my second order whit all the pieces whent trough and my new order shows its conformed and payed, now thats just what i think but hope tomorrow i wont get yet a 3rd refund from vasilli and tells me the stuff i bough was out of stock because when i placed my order the first time i got evrything i needed because i was quick and i think he should respect my order instead of being condecedent and refund my money.

I hope the pre-orders come back or they fix a time for available products to stay in the cart for at least 5 min, because this sucks, not triying to be negative but this is what happed and im very sad it went this way.

That sounds bad. Sorry you went through that.
Also it sucks that you couldn't use your Ody for over an year. Tell you what. I was able to order pretty much full set of parts for Ody. Tell me the parts you need and I will have ESG take them out of my order and give them to you. Since this is my second Ody and I have plenty other stuff coming to keep me busy for few months, I will be happy to wait for next batch.

Best solution would be to have enough parts made, so that we avoid F5 wars over parts all together. It is silly to see people who can't use $150 devices because they are missing $5 parts.

Horrible service today at Smokeguru, 15 friends and i lost most of our pieces from the basket while we where wait for some pieces to be in stock, really fustrating, worst way i ever see to update a website, i hope in the future Don't happen this again, people are really really angry.
So sorry to say that but it think that is a mistake than can be easily solved néctar time.

Something like this happened to me too.
Put all i need in my basket (only possible if in stock.
Checked out and paid with Paypal.
After a few minutes i get a mail that all stuff is cancelled.
I got my money back and all i bought was cancelled.
And i bought a lot, but now the most is out of stock.
I think there is a failure in the system that has to be solved.
Maybe while checking out, a piece went out of stock and the system canceled the whole order.
This just for information for Imeo and the rest of you.
I talked to Vasilli and we are looking for a solution.

Maybe its a system problem, i don't know. There are tools to make a forensic study of the system logs... But the main problem I think was put the items at different times.

I lost brass ggts waiting... First the buttons, an second just full venting cap, that never appears... Then some items stars to disappear in my cart. I told me: don't worry buy a complete items, one ggts and one stealth and I save money!! But 5 seconds later my head think again: clear the cart, you make happy to somebody... I put again one tube and some stuff and looking for other present.

I spend the holidays with more money in my pocket and new toy from other place.
The best product but, on this time, not the best service for my point of view.

So sorry for people that disappears the complete cart.

Something like this happened to me too.
Put all i need in my basket (only possible if in stock.
Checked out and paid with Paypal.
A few minutes get a mail that all stuff is refunded.
I got my money back and all i bought was refunded.
And i bought a lot, but now the most is out of stock.

Imeo,----> Maybe a GG thread like " GG Parts swap" would be a good idea to help GG family members who need parts to vape their gear while it is outoff stock ???

I guess many of us are facing the same problem. Items sold out before we could even checkout. Lost the iatty mini again - I begin to feel maybe there were only 10 - 15 pcs in stock with at least 50 ppl going for it and half of them only wanted the iatty mini only where I had a list to select. This really .........

Wonder if it's possible to change the web page design also
You need to go two pages in order to place order or see if the item is in stock

Example
Page one - Penelope accessories
Page two - "Base" - in stock or add to cart

Why not just select "Penelope accessories" and all items listed with in stock and add to cart options?

I don´t think it was a problem to put them in different times, maybe for the other problems i read here.
I totally checked out and paid already.
And after a few minutes the order was completely cancelled, inbetween the most i wanted (not needed) was out of stock.
That is a little bit different to the other problems i think.

Two approach I think so:

Your talk about system problem. Review the logs. Big problem.

I'm talking about bad deployment. Review the process. If somebody's wants, that I don't know...

Breminator is right in my opinión, i think that not having at least 5 minutes the pieces reserved on the shopping cart it makes impossible to keep the full order in stock till You try to pay it, i just explain my experience yesterday so Vassilis can fix it as the service is allways perfect and this and the update all the stuff together is a easy to fix problem in the future.
Btw thanks imeo for your efort making those so much wanted pieces, i'm sure a New batch is coming pretty soon and all of us will have the chance to buy them.

thanks allot zero ohms i bought the whole tank section for ithaka and ithaka update, my plan was to use the spare ithaka drip tip and the new thank section to complete my ody, and it seems my order wasent bugged the second time, im yet to recibe confirmation from vasilli if hes going to be able to fulfill my order, this time he hasent refunded so i might actually get all i need.

thanks for the offer but i dont want to take parts from another user, i would buy them from some 1 if it comes to that and if my order its fine this time i wont need to buy anything else for a while.

With all do respect,Yes- it would be ideal to have every part to every device that everyone wants available at all times, but this is impossible for a maker like Imeo. There are many makers who only support/create very few devices and can't keep things in stock. With all the many devices Imeo has created and still supports, I'm amazed to see just how many parts and devices are available. Again, no disrespect but we all have to have patience and respect the fact that it takes a lot of time and effort to create the best line of vaping devices on the market. All we can ever do is the best we can, which I'm sure is exactly what Imeo does. :)

I suggest that the next time Vasilis close the shop and go up all the stock at once and open when this all ready, because today was impossible buy spare parts :-(

I am very sorry for this :(
But the problem was that a couple thousends customers was at the same time in the shop and they order all together.
That means the system give the items to this person which checkout faster :(
But i have the solution for next time

Imeo i think the issue here is that for the first time the store didn't update everything at the same time this caused issues. Of course if item in basket reserves the item it will also be better.

All this is true,
but when i stock one item i can go to stck imidiatly the next one because the systems send e-mails to all customers which have click on the notify me button :( this was a huge problem and time problem.

This was the problem Manuel,
because you try to reorder the same order and the system dont let this happens if the stock is empty :(
