Are you in America? If so your full of it, or just paranoid beyond reason. Putting cameras in a bathroom is against the law, terrorism or no terrorism...
If you not allergic to PG than I'd recommend the more PG based liquids (less VG), which will create less vapour.
I do vape in Europe on flights, using my LT.

If you like high VG liquid, blow slowly through a folded airline blanket or other cloth. It absorbs over 90% of the vapor and what is left is small particles, practically invisible.
I've vaped on airplanes with my 50/50 mix. I always blow the smoke down in to my cleavage (I do this in Movie Theatres too...) and I've never had problems. I wait an appropriate amount of time between drags to avoid a small cloud of smoke around me. But I've never been "talked" to about it. I will usually bring a Niccotine patch as a back up, just in case...
I'm not going to get into the camera in the bathroom argument. There is no FAA regulation against vaping on a plane. Most airlines say you can't do it because they say they don't want to have to explain when other passengers think you're smoking. In my experience, if you're discrete, it's not a problem. Hold it in a bit to cut the vapor down. It helps to be using something that doesn't look like a cigarette.
I flew to Vegas a couple weeks ago and wound up with a copilot for the airline deadheading sitting next to me. I had an ego in my shirt pocket. Before he sat down, I pointed at my pocket and jokingly said, "You can't sit there. I won't be able to sneak hits off of this." He took a second to realize what I meant and said, "No problem. I'll be sleeping the whole time." He wasn't but, I had no problem sneaking a hit now and then.

Just got back from a long trip, vapin' all da way. Just keep it invisible. I thought it would look weird but what the heck, snuggle up with that blue blanket, and/or put it over yer head. Deniability. I managed to run down an 18650 on the SFO-Frankfurt leg, watched 5 movies and almost emptied my VMod XL. Make sure you vape something fresh smelling, like a pastry or fruity flavor. Now and then I'd catch someone sniffing. Then they'd shake their heads like they'd come up with an explanation. The food. Aftershave. A mirage. Smells kinda nice, never mind. Thassa right, mirage, go back to the movie. Luftwaffe is the worst. I had a German Shepherd like that. He'd delineate a perimeter and patrol. That was his idea of a good time. United is good, the stewardesses are too busy gossiping to bother with anything, the guys do all the work, and they're more "on your side".
Ok, I recently had a VERY strange experience on my recent long-haul trip - LAX to Sydney. Well, before the trip actually...
Waiting for my flight, I had access to the oneworld lounge at LAX (Tom Bradley terminal). Went to the men's room, and noticed how nice and private the stalls were, with full doors, regular walls, and a very strong exhaust fan. Ooh, nice... since I had 16 hours of flying ahead of me and too chicken to vape on the plane, decided to stealth vape in the men's room stall.
Followed the normal protocol.... drag, hold in for 5-8 seconds, exhale directly into the exhaust fan. A bit of a challenge as I vape 100% VG (in this case, AVE BB), but certainly there was no cloud of vapor in the room and I doubt any of it was escaping.
A few minutes into my stealth vape, and a very strong announcement over the PA system that "smoking in the restrooms in strictly prohibited. Please refrain from smoking, and if you are currently smoking please stop immediately."
Whoa... strange. Of course, I stashed the PV and left the lounge.
Maybe somebody was smoking in the ladies room so it wasn't directed at me? Maybe somebody smelled something funny in the men's room and reported it? A camera, perhaps? The timing was just too coincidental...

This may not be true.
A handful of STATES have laws banning the use of hidden cameras in private places ("where one would reasonably suspect to be safe from surveillance"). Many of these laws were prompted by landlords spying on tenants and companies putting hidden cams in bathrooms for security purposes. I doubt these laws would apply when you're flying across state lines, and certainly they wouldn't when flying internationally.
When you fly, you're giving up quite a bit of your privacy rights already (full body scanners). I would think it is entirely reasonable to suspect that airplane lavs have camera surveillance. My guess is that they do, but are for recording only (not actively monitored or accessible by flight personnel), and only to be used for a criminal investigation. They could do this and still comply with the 4th amendment, as the recordings would remain private and only viewable under court order or a warrant.
Well all I can say is (being honest here) I have smoked in the stalls at the Star Alliance Lounge at TBIT, without problems. Also at the Skyclub at E concourse in Atlanta where it even tells you there are smoke detectors in the stalls. Never had a problem.
