Hi all

im trying to find the perfect setup.....

What I want is a 510 thread battery. I've got an ego 650mAh and a riva 900. To be honest, I've had no problems with my riva battery. I'm looking for something to replace my ego battery, maybe I need a higher one but still, it's not cutting it. I use Lr Boge cartomizers and the best way to describe the draw on it is basically its not tight enough, which means im not getting the best flavour and its a little disappointing.

Any suggestions. Is the ego any good? Or could it be just a rubbish battery that's a one off?

any help as always is appreciated.

Thanks for that! Sorry for the time you put into writing it all down as it looks awesome completely setup but I'm looking for something similar in size to the middle one in the picture. I'm also not ready to venture into variable voltage and tanks as I'm a lazy vaper and like to fill up a cart with a drip tip for topping and go! I'm looking for something around the size of a riva. Have you had any experience with the ego batteries? As I'm very disappointed with the one I've got.

Well I have recently switched to the Ego APVs. They are a bit bigger than the other EGO batteries, but I didn't find this to be an issue. No, they aren't VV, although they do have two voltage options. Nice that you can just replace the battery in them, bonus is that they do still charge on a regular Ego charger.

Me I've tried cartos, clearos, RBA's but I still go back to a LR bridgeless 501. Dripping to me provides the best and most reliable flavor and vapor.

Good luck finding what works for you!

Edited to add that the battery in the APV's is an 2600 mh 18650, no slouch on power or run time. :)

Not that cheap at £18.00 though really is it Romelee, when compared to a full kit like the Riva 1100.

What i meant is the design, just not my cup of tea, price wise with the riva1100 you also get on top:

1 x Extra 1100mah Battery (Much needed)
5 x Standard Resistance Cartomisers (Very handy if you don't decide you like the clearomiser)
1 x Cover Cone (Bonus)
1 x 510 Drip Tip (For use with the cartomisers) - (Bonus)
1 x Vape Escape Carry Case (Extra Bonus)

So that extra £16.00 is worth it imo as you will need a spare Battery when the other one runs out.

Dave, little tip when you receive your Riva 1100, don't screw the Clearomisor on too tight as it pushes the little connector on the battery down too far and if that happens you may have to pull the connector up a bit with tweezers for it to connect to the Clearomisor again.

It does not effect the Cartomisors though.

I use ego batteries and I love them. I have several different sizes. I am also not a fan of bigger batteries. This is what I can tell you about my egos. I have cheap egos and smoktech egos. The cheap ones give me problems.....the smoktech ones work awesome! Hold a charge longer, never have to fiddle with the stem and they work great with everything ive put on them.
I would try a different brand such as smoktech and see if you are still not satisfied.
