Well i am still Relatively new to vaping 3 months in and have seen how much things can change in a short amount of time.So i was thinking and looking around to see what was the First Commercially Accepted ecig sold,I remember hearing about it going back to the 80s but i would love to find pictures of all the Older Ecigs models.I just got to thinking that it would be Very cool and Also informative if we had a Hall of Fame/History that listed Pictures of the Ecigs and year they was available .

I just thought it would be nice to have some way to see what they started from to what we have Today.

Yes shannon that was kind of what i was thinking also,Starting back when they was first sold to the General public and have a few pics of the most popular that year and move on year after year until we get to Where we are at now in vaping.More or less a timeline with pictures and maybe some information on the product.I just think it would a nice read and very nostalgic to see where we came from

Here is a little quote from a well known place so I don't know exactly how far back you can go to find an older electronic cig.

"The electronic cigarette was invented by Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik in 2003 and introduced to the market the following year. The company he worked for, Golden Dragon Holdings, changed its name to Ruyan (meaning "to resemble smoking"), and started exporting its products in 2005–2006." When I was in the 8th grade (I'm 34 now) I recall our health teacher passing out a photocopy of a new invention which was supposedly coming to market, the name of which escapes me at the moment. It was a cigarette that contained a cylinder of nicotine, and a charcoal tip which you lit like a traditional cigarette. Supposedly the burning charcoal heated the nicotine cylinder, and you inhaled the vaporized nicotine. It was billed as having no tar/carcinogens, and was supposed to be a safer alternative to smoking.

Not sure what ever happened to that idea, but it obviously never made it.
