Uhm... didn't you think to contact me?
The white epoxy was used because the clear liquid epoxy weakens when in contact with juice.
If I didn't get it completely clean... I apologize.
If you want to send it back... I'll replace the outer shell, and do it with clear epoxy.
As far as it falling apart... I'm sorry... but in almost 2 months of vaping on the prototype, I've had no problems of anything *coming* apart.
I'd be more than happy to replace this, or give you credit.

Not to mention no time date was ever promised for shipping. If you look back to the original thread, it states that the *tentative* shipping date was the first.

This is the worst mod i have ever Had plain and simple its crudely built and cheaply made when removing the back lid several pink peices of plastic fell out and lets be honest removing the back over and over to refill the plastic bottle will make it weaker weaker and till it cracks of breaks
I do not care what color the epoxy is its just slathered all over it like butter it looks horrible the usb does not work

From the beginning... i stated that these were hand cut, hand built and hand assembled. The epoxy will wipe off.
If I sent you a red, and you asked for blue, send it back to me and I'll remake it for you with clear epoxy. I tested every last one of these before they went out, but a few have had issues with the USB, and I have no clue why.
As far as the epoxy goes, I chose durability over looks. Although the prototype has never fallen apart, I have had to re-apply the epoxy several times because the juice was causing it to deteriorate and it kept getting loose.
As a matter of fact... I had someone on a thread tell me they look like a work of art, and I responded with the fact they looked more like a Frankenstein. *lol*
I will make this right for you... but you have to send it back to me... and actually *talk* to me.
I had to get a phone call from an ECF member to find this out...
All you had to do is contact me and I would make this right... not trash me.

i understand you where under staffed and all the problems you had but

*where* is it cracking apart? Take a pic and show me *how* you opened it. I've stated that you pull out from the bottom gently about 2 inches. If you pull it apart any more than that its *going* to break or fall apart, because its not *meant* to open that far.
Please send it back to me and I will make you another and show you that it is a good product...

look at the pics i posted in the review thread you can see the huge crack next to the usb
I just lifted the bottom about two inches and plastic fell out and it popped

This is a total conversion mod. I have to cut, drill, and melt to make this work with the 14500 batteries as well as to make room for the parts inside. These are hand made... if you want something that is *perfect*, then order a standard 510 kit or something. Each one of these has my blood, sweat and tears in it...
I don't have laser cutters, or a plastic mold. This was made out of a *pencil* sharpener. If you haven't seen what it looked like before, there is really no room to complain about how its made. It *cannot* be made out of this enclosure without these modifications. Each one is hand cut and hand built. Some of the assembly is required *after* the enclosure is put together... which means there might be a burn mark here and there. Ever tried soldering in a 1 inch square area without bumping the sides?
Its called character... each blemish, each cut, everything is going to be different mod to mod.
Check out the first video and reviews. CrashTestJeep loves it... and has had minor issues which I have helped out with.

I had to cut out the back plate... which covers the entire area that the switches and regulator are in. That plate *held* the battery posts in place. Without that plate there, the posts *wiggled*. That is why I melted the back... to seal that piece into place.
I cut/melted the plastic around the post because the battery *wouldn't* fit in there without it being removed!
As far as the switch holes go... I posted in the thread that the switches were popping atty's so I got new switches... the only ones I could find on a quick notice were larger... therefore I had to re-cut the holes in order to make them fit... that is why those holes look like crap.
You obviously didn't watch the first video I released... it showed the battery compartment... and how everything was done. The only thing different is the epoxy.
I've personally dropped the prototype 5-6 times now on hardwood floor and on cement, and have yet to have it crack, chip or break.
To anyone who now does not want the pencil sharpener enclosure... I'll build your VapeZilla out of a project box like Carlos Juice Box... but its going to add a delay to shipping. Let me know if that is what you want. Also... if you are in the 2nd have of the first pre-order, I'll remake your VapeZilla using clear epoxy... but I will not offer a warranty on the parts held in by the liquid epoxy since it does not hold up well when wet. If you want me to paint the epoxy to match the color of the box... let me know.
I'll do everything I can to make any customer happy... but you gotta give me the chance first.

Damn good point. Amajn & Crash can not be the ONLY ONES TO RECEIVE IT so far. So how about you others stepping up with your

Look back at your PM to me... you never gave be a secondary color. Since the colors were on a first come first serve basis, and it took you a week to get me your color preference, you missed out on the blue. You were sent the wrong color because you didn't have a second choice!
I haven't tried to deny anything... All I have done is to explain to you why white epoxy was used, and why places are cut/melted. I've never said I wouldn't work with you...

Ya I would also like to see if anyone else recieved one that looks like amajn's as I believe there is gonna be alot of returns when it comes to this particular mod but thats just my opinion. Also just based on the numerous times this supplier has claimed to have shipped and failed to do so would be enough for me to not do business with this particular supplier.
