If you don't wear a helmet, you've never been in a serious accident. Ask any old biker who's ridden most of their life. It's not a matter of if, it's when. I've had mine, helmet saved my life. Thinking back on it, I'm glad I did. I wouldn't have wanted to die at 28 years old. Wasn't anything I could, the deer wanted to die apparently.

(this only shows the front, not the back where I actually landed on my head)

But yeah, chances of getting struck by a suicidal deer or by lightening can't really be compared.

Either way, I'm alive now, and not-very-patiently waiting for the ego twist to come out :)

I don't remember it but I was put in the hospital because of a helmet and had quite a few wrecks where the helmet was the reason my head became the leading projectile.
One of the first people to try to kill me street biking would've gone unseen if I had a helmet on and I would've been road pizza.
Luckily that freedom of choice is something my state still allows.

Once I figured out I couldn't ride in town because of people trying to kill me and I couldn't ride in the country because of deer trying to kill me I got rid of the bike.

Luckily I moved away from the deer in San Antonio (big city, full of deer, go figure) and here in Oklahoma City you don't see them unless you try. Oklahoma still gives you the choice, and almost everybody here chooses not to. I can't really say my helmet caused me to land the way I did since I went flying end over end anyway. Actually landed on my shoulder and then my head. Shoulder broke, helmet didn't. I think even if my helmet did cause me to, I'd rather land on something that had that level of cushion than something that didn't. Cause I still hit my head and probably would have either way. At least my helmet cracked instead of my skull. But that's what the freedom of choice is all about. People look at me funny here because I'm one of the few that chooses to. But hey, I'm here right? :)

On an on-topic note, do I get an early opportunity to buy an ego-twist today since it's my birthday? :)

Vicki at Cignot has the 650s in stock today! :)

NICE! Never ordered from Cignot. Gah, they only have the 650 mah ($29+$5 shipping). Not sure whether I should hold out for the 900/1000 either. Of course, while I waffle about wondering whether to wait or not, they'll probably be sold out....

Well I have had a VV device whether it's a provari or lavatube in my carts for a few month's debating on whether I want to spend 60, 70, 80+ $$$ on a larger VV pv just to TRY VV. Well I pulled the trigger on the Ego-C Twist today. I figured it will give me some Idea about VV and whether is right for me. For 29$ plus shipping and super fast shipping (I ordered at 2pm est from CigNot and already seen it shipped today and is en route, should be here Friday according to USPS). Can't wait to try on my stardusts that I got today. I vape on ego batt's and stardusts every day, its my go to setup. It's compact, easy to maintain, fill, etc. it's been pretty solid. and to add VV into the mix I'm excited. I'll provide some input on the Ego-C Twist+Stardust combo this weekend as I put it through the paces.

I should get mine tomorrow or saturday. I so can't wait! Dieing to see how the ego-c works on the twist. I just hope the 650mah isn't going to drain super fast. I have all 650's right now, keep 2 on me while 2 charge. That works for a whole day for me like that unless I'm chain vaping. I also like the smaller sizes of the 650's. I figure it's better to have a smaller one with all the usb ports around than to carry around the larger ones.

I've been ordering all my batts from cignot lately. They have good prices, get the newest stuff in fast & never have had any issues with them at all.

Cheapest way to sample VV would be a pass-through available on a few different sites. That or a box mod.

Though I myself am very curious about the Twist. I like the eGo form factor.

Although my experience with the battery was only for 30 minutes, doing a little guestimate math leads me to believe that at 4.8v you will lose a little more than 1/3 of the normal vape time for an eGo style battery.

That needs to be confirmed by actual use of course.

So, if that works out to be true, then the 1000mAh should run at 4.8 for about 6.6 hours. That's not bad!
