Ego, Go-Go, Riva, Leo, iGo,Vgo, Kgo and Echo Comparisons

I just tried a CE2 Carto on my 900 mah Smoke Tech Ego Clone bat and it SUCKED...terrible taste....like burnt shoe leather would taste......blech....

Then I tried the same CE2 Carto on one of my Joye Tech 650 Ego batts and it was...Delicious...dont know how to explain it....if anyone could help it would be much apreciated. Thank you.

All I know is I really "like" them on my 650..but they taste like CRAP on my 900....hmmmmm

Yes, I have been keeping the CE2 horizontal as to keep the wicks wet....this is the SAME carto...screwed off one and then screwed onto the other...hmmmmmm.

I'll share this as possibly helpful info...

I too have a 900mah Smoke Tech eGo clone. Fresh off the charger, volts measure 4.2 on the multimeter. This is sometimes referred to as a "true" 3.7V battery.

Standard eGo batteries such as the Joye 650 are a "regulated" 3.7V battery. This means the voltage is "throttled" a bit so the voltage stays more consistent as the battery is used.

In a nutshell, when your 900 is fresh off the charger, it is creating more wattage (heat) than your 650. This can be a good or bad thing depending on your carto *and* your liquid.

Evidently you have some combination that is creating bad flavor at the higher voltage.

Once the wick starts working properly you will not taste the bad stuff any longer. It's just coming up the center tube... not going into the stuffing.

No, it isn't.

The GO-GO is a 1300mah. manual battery with proprietary connection. you can only use GO-GO cartomizers on A GO-GO unless you have a adapter.

I apologize for posting the same question in 2 threads but I have a time sensitive (for my needs) question. If anyone has a standard 808 auto Echo carto and a small ruler, I need the aprroximate measurement in millimeters from the bottom of the Echo carto battery post in the bottom of the carto to the bottom of the outer carto skirt.

Thanks for anyone that has both the Echo carto and a small ruler and could take a sec. I would be most appreciative.

I needed to get that measurement info to a machinist who is modifying an existing 510 to 808 adapter to serve as a prototype. With the prototype, we can get exact measurements required for a usable item.

It would be a narrow "market" but not that expensive. I'll shoot you a PM when we have something worth even talking about, lol!

BILLB is our resident Igo guy as is OMG. I have looked long and hard for other vendors state-side selling the Igo but have not found them anywhere but Nhaler. I did get a quote from the manufacturer but with my health so up and down, I am not a good candidate for being a supplier.

Folks can empathize with you when you have health issues but as the old saying goes "friends are friends and business is business". I wouldn't think of being a supplier unless I could provide fast shipping and decent customer support. BILLB hasn't said but he has inventory on other items in bound. Maybe if there is enough interest for that item we could talk him into carrying a few. ;-)

Thanks. You sound like one of the folks that have their act together on the GO GO and I Go . So sorry about your health issues. We know that is a real bummer.
I noted on the I Go it says you have to fill with a syringe. This may sound like a dumb question--but where do I buy one??
Nhaler doesn't sell them, and I didn't see any other supplier that did either. I'm sure I could probably get one at a pharmacy (maybe); but what on earth would I tell them I needed it for???? Also, what SIZE do I need??

It's all the little things with this whole process of deciding what kind of system to get that tend to make me a little frustrated.
I started a thread on the Newcomers forum about my first try with a system and the horrible results. Have had a lot of good info from lots of nice folks--so am going to "git er done" LOL

Syringe with Blunt Tip Needle - One Stop DIY Shop Store

I just got one of each gauge with the longest blunt needle - largest on the content, and I like them for a variety of tasks. I use the larger gauge when mixing with VG and the smaller gauge when filling cartos. I like the extra length to get down in bottles and give myself more room in various tasks. I mix my own juice, and these are great.

I assume she read a thread recommending a syringe. It is faster, much easier, and an accurate way to prevent over-filling. Personally, the only time I drip down the side is to top a cart off. Otherwise, I use a syringe from the bottom up. I read the same recommendations, and it works great for me. Whatever works and you're comfortable with.
