I was skimming some past posts of mine & was shocked to see it was 14 months ago that I bought my eGo kit. Now granted, I also order a pair of Tornado batteries about the same time & rotate between the 4, but still. 14 months & still going strong?
I color that :toast:AWESOME:toast:

I did have to buy a new charger last week, but $10 a year for hardware? I can live with that:2cool:

Also order a Riva battery so we'll see how they fair next to the eGo & Tornado batteries

It seems old batteries (Riva style, soft rubber touch button) are delivering higher voltage than the new Ego 1000 mah batteries.
Got a 1000 mah yesterday, and seems the voltage is around 3.45 volts....Old riva's are higher, but newer have 10 seconds cutt-off protection, 5 clicks on and off function.

I opened an Ego battery, mine had Joye batteries inside. That batt died after I used (and pressed the button too much, I guess) an LR EM5 atomizer....

I've been using the eGo about since it first came out, too. And I'm still using it. I've lost batteries, replaced batteries for the heck of it, but never had a failure. But through that time I got tired of changing batteries. And the screwing and unscrewing all the time. I'm waiting for something to take the eGo's place. A 18650 Janty/joye stick would be nice. That batt will def last you till sleep(charge) time.

Thanks for the report. I have 5+ months on my Riva510 (650Mah). The soft button is wearing down some. Lol, yeah they're wobbly! I use a semicircle button protector and always lay it on the side and it won't roll away.

I use BogeLR's now, I wonder if that'll kill it sooner. I'll go to Boge 2.5 if I have to, but am never going back to attys- they suck.
